This hotel is very nicely equipped. It provides comfortable beds, a hot shower and a beautiful view from the balconies. The big advantage is the location of the hotel, just 5 minutes walking from the main Leh market. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Most of all I appreciate that they helped me to arrange all sorts of things which I needed, from permits to drivers and trips.

The staff were very helpful. The location was great, 5 minutes walk to main market. The room was very comfortable. There was hot water all the time ✅ The breakfast. Although staff did their best, the items on offer for western ppl were very limited. I would suggest they research what could be some good things to offer.

Very near to Leh Market and restaurants. Huge car park and garden. Very clean, big and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Should provide toothbrush and shaving kit.

Location is quite good.Close to Leh Market, and lots of restaurants.Easy to get everything you need. The wifi in the room is very weak.We could only connect the wifi in the balcony. Besides, there's a live music restaurant nearby, the singer sing from 8 to 11 pm.It's a bit too noisy.

Compared with most of the small mountain guest houses in Ladakh it gives you the feeling of comfort. The hotel has big, clean rooms with comfortable beds, nice new furniture and modern style bathroom with hot water shower. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the city and the mountains. I appreciated also the heater at night. One of the best thing, which is important for me, was the communication with the manager before my arrival. He replied very quickly to all my answers and helped me to arrange all the things needed for my trip.

Location is perfect, on the same road as about 6 or 7 motorbike hire shops, 2 mins walk from the main bazar market and with several restaurants within a minute walk. Hotel has I think recently been renovated, the rooms are large (I had room 303) and the beds are reasonably comfortable but not many Leh hotels use mattress protectors so you only get a sheet between you and the mattress, bit it's comfortable enough and better than other hotels. The bedding was clean and duvet warm enough. The bathroom is large with a walk in shower but unfortunately the button to activate the ceiling shower head didn't stay pushed in so you can either keep your finger on it or use the tap which always had water - I think it needed adjusting. Plenty of hot water. The food was great, very nice, available in the large dining room or in your own room, it was delivered quickly and was great quality, garlic naan with real fresh garlic zing ! Very good. Breakfast was a good selection in the dining room, Indian options plus toast, omelette, porridge etc with tea and coffee, very nice. The staff were really helpful, lots of ideas of where to visit, how long a road trip will take to Kharding La for example, plus Atul was exceptionally helpful with renting a bike and then returning it for me when the shop was closed on my last day, he also offered to refresh the room whilst I was at Pangong Two. Plenty of parking for bikes, motorbikes and cars, easy access to taxi service etc and can book trips for you. If you want to use a travel agent for arranging restricted area permits and trips you should consider Ancient Tracks just opposite the entrance to the main bazar market. They get permits for the bike hire companies and other trip organisers and hotels and offer a very good, fast service. Not much really, this is a hotel that's comfortable and has good food and is clean. It would be better if the shower had worked properly but it worked enough to have a shower, I didn't go without.

The manager is extremely helpful and patient. He made us feel immediately welcome. The same thing can be said for his staff. The hotel is centrally located in Leh. The balcony was nice and the breakfast good. There were some renovations going on, and for a couple of days there was no working lift.

Location is good, so close to main market. Room is spacious and clean with a nice mountain view. Mohit, the hotel manager was very helpful..went the extra miles to get my permits to Nubra valley. Thanks to all the wonderful staff too!

Very convenient location. Very polite and obliging staff. Good rooms. Preventive maintenance checks on bathroom fittings and plumbing would be helpful. More non-veg options at breakfast would be nice, but not necessary.

We had a great time at Amanthi hotel, everything was just perfect. Staff was incredible, always attentive and helpful with anything we needed. They made us feel at home for the entire stay. The manager Mohit was superb in assisting us with every request and need. He also organised our 4 days trip to Nubra valley and Pangong lake. Food was good, rich breakfast. We 100% recommend Amanthi hotel for your visit to Leh. We will definetely come back! Thanks for everything. Nothing we didn't like.
