The self check in was a bit annoying and tricky, asking to fill in all the same data I submitted for the reservation. The location is next to a hookah lounge so patrons got a bit loud and obnoxious last at night. The A/C unit was not fully functioning.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the day manager, Barbara, who was apologetic regarding our stay. Per this hotel's own published information, a front desk person is to be on-site until 2000. On our arrival at 1940, no one was at the front desk. The self check-in process was not smooth. We ended up having to call for help as the system would not recognize our reservation number or credit card. Our room smelled like sewer gas. I called staff, who told me the room was cleaned earlier and did not smell. I asked for another room and was told no others were available but that I could upgrade rooms for a cost. I said I wanted to upgrade for free because our room smelled so terrible. I was told no. I asked what the cost of the upgrade would be. Staff member said she did not have that information in front of her, and she could not guarantee that the upgraded room would not smell as it was next door to our original room. I asked if we could just check out with a refund and was told this could not be guaranteed. By the time these conversations concluded, it was close to 2200. We ended up staying due to the lateness. We left our belongings in our car as we did not want them to pick up the terrible smell. Of course, we did not sleep well. The next morning, we discussed with Barbara, the hotel manager. She was apologetic, saying a couple of rooms do have an odor if the area has a big rain as the sewer system is overwhelmed. It had rained heavily the day before, and she said she left thinking, this was not good for the people who had booked those rooms. She gave us a 20% discount, which at least was something. Besides the smell, beds had only 1 pillow a piece. Breakfast was adequate but by no means terrific. The room "balcony" was large enough for one small chair.... certainly, 2 people could not sit out there comfortably. A chair in the room had a large stain on the seat. Also, the air conditioner could not be adjusted as the controls did not work. Overall, this was a bad experience.

I had the luck to receive a room next to a family with a baby who was crying extremely loud several times during the night making sleep impossible. Walls are thin barely isolating any noise. This is of course not the fault of the hotel. Accomodation itself was OK and clean, if you have an early flight to catch this is a possibility to consider. No reception staff, check in using a terminal.

It was clean, nicely renovated, nice furniture, good beds, good shower, coffee/tea facility.. Can't think of anything.. shower soap dispenser was nearly empty..

Almost everything THe noise & smell from the shisha bar just next to the hotel. If i come back I will ask for a room on a higher level and away from the shisha bar direction.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, very nice towels, good air conditioning, a bottle of water and even a little treat (Haribo candy) on each bed .

The facility is a bit older, but the interior is up-to-date and modern. The room had good natural light, a balcony, and ample space to do work or relax. The breakfast had ample choice.
