The chalet we were initially assigned was not satisfactory, as it was not properly cleaned and was located rather far from the car park, making it difficult to reach in the evening, particularly with a small baby. However, after explaining the situation to the staff, we were kindly offered a caravan instead, which was in excellent condition — clean, modern, and conveniently situated close to the car park. The chalet we were initially assigned was in very poor condition. It was dirty, dark, and had an unpleasant smell of bacon. The sink was poorly designed, making it impossible to use the hot water tap, as it was placed too close to the porcelain basin. In addition, the path leading to the chalet was covered with grass and not properly lit, making it unsafe and extremely difficult to access with a stroller, especially in the evening. It was also the very last chalet on the road, which was quite inconvenient considering that I had clearly mentioned in my booking that we were travelling with a baby under one year old. Under these circumstances, we would have expected to be assigned accommodation that was cleaner, closer to the car park, and accessible with a stroller. Furthermore, the sink had two separate taps — one for cold and one for hot water — unlike the caravan, which had a modern mixer tap. The hot water tap was positioned so close to the basin that it could not be used at all, leaving cold water as the only option.

Feels like living in the forest There’s no safe walking path going to the train station so no choice but to take the bus. The receptionist who welcomed us during our check-in is not that welcoming and some of the information she mentioned are not accurate. Waste segregation sticker is placed in general waste bin but no bin provided for recyclables. Too much spider web outside the house near the door and windows and many tiny spiders inside the house specifically in the toilet. The pool area is not that what I expected as what was advertised and no shower area. The toilet is also not working that time.

Excellent accommodation for the price, although we had to clean a little food off the walk when we first arrived, the comfort and standard was excellent. For the price and location, we would definitely stay there again. Inside the sites main building it was a little dated and the toilets were flooded which I had to report because it was obvious they weren’t checked regularly on that day. Benefit of doubt though it’s was very busy in those areas. The member of staff dealt with the issue very quickly.

The property had multiple bathrooms and plenty of space, unfortunately the fridge didn’t work but the team sorted it out and reimbursed us. We didn’t really use the facilities but the restaurant was good, prices reasonable and the size of portion was great. The location is fantastic and you can get to most places within half an hour; I’d definitely stay here again.

    Very good

Good Location, fairly quiet. That's it. This accommodation in no way reflects that shown in the photos on the listing!!! It was dirty (despite there being 7 hours between check out and check in time I doubt more then 10 minutes had been spent cleaning. All very tired, multiple maintenance/damage issues and not at all comfortable. It felt like a porta-cabin, very bare and not at all homely. We were very much given the impression that because we'd booked via booking.com that was what we should expect, no apology. Floors were filthy, no rugs, horrible to have to walk around on without shoes. On arrival the door to the decking wasn't properly shut and we soon realised this was because it didn't shut, maintenance came to help and said they would have to sort it next day but it wasn't done. The kitchen blind was broken as was the end panel of the dining bench which had been propped up with the bedroom stool. Cupboard door front damaged and fridge door didn't shut properly. Every single radiator leaked and was rusty/covered in old leaking dirty fluid. The shower wasn't clean and had hair in it. The skirtings all through were disgusting. There were some very thick cobwebs in the bedroom and the curtain poles and light fittings were covered in rust. Everything smelled of damp, probably because the roof gutterings had weeds and plants growing out of them. Overgrown trees and bushes bumping and scraping at the side of the unit all through the night. We didn't use the pool as it turned out there were no changing rooms????!!! We didn't fancy walking back dripping wet or getting undressed in public. Parking was first come first served and as the bays weren't marked people parked inconsiderately which meant there wasn't enough room. This could be so much better if someone just took ownership, responsibility and a bit of pride in what was being offered. There cannot be any quality checks being carrie out.

Stay was good value for money. Nice location and facilities Late check in time (4pm) , and the room wasn't actually ready until 17:30. We were however given a food voucher to compensate for the inconvenience.
