Great location. Spa facilities were very nice and sauna sessions really thoughtful. Outdoor pool is nice. Breakfast has so much variety. Dinner was tasty and very well served. Maybe not my preference but good food anyway. Good size and clean room but quite basic for deluxe. Staff were super friendly. Room booked was the deluxe but had nothing to qualify the title. No tea/coffee station, hairdryer flimsy, no slippers. Mini-bar empty and fridge not working. No hot water at peak afternoon hour. Even though I waited for it to go warm for half an hour. When I mentioned to staff we were given drinks vouchers but that’s not the point. Most staff don’t speak English so it’s a bit hard to communicate. Reception staff speak English. None of the signs was in English in the spa area which is very confusing for non-German speaking. We arrived late and got a cheese board waiting for us but had to pay full price even though we communicated we would arrive after midnight. Got a very abrupt response on the phone. This is the price or you can cancel. Our table for breakfast and dinner was at the very end of the restaurant although lots of tables were empty in other areas. Didn’t feel like asking for a change as it was hard to communicate in English. Overall too expensive for the offering probably because of location.

The hotel is amazing for kids! Great balance of luxury for adults and fun for kids. Staff were mostly lovely. Restaurant staff very polite and nice. Initially I was directed to the top carpark in a van with 1 park remaining and no way to turn around and nearly got stuck which was stressful way to start the trip. The front reception lady helped me back out and gave me a park in there second carpark which was nearly empty. I don’t understand why they didn’t just send me to the second parking garage from the start knowing I had a van and needed to get bikes out. The second garage was great and easier to park. The lift from the garage parking doesn’t go to the floors but up to reception first and then to another lift. The hotel is a bit confusing to navigate around. I wasn’t explained or shown any of the facilities on check in so had no idea of the rules or about the adult only spa area and walked into a pack of elderly men fully naked drinking beer! Hahah this didn’t bother me but may be worth explaining to guests from other countries were this isn’t typical.

Location, view from my room. It was not explained to me properly on arrival what half board meant. So I did not know dinner was included.

The location is beautiful, the facilities are excellent and the food and service is fantastic. Very family orientated with lots to keep the children entertained. Dinner is a 5 course set menu and finishes at 8pm. This is a little restrictive if arriving late and perhaps should be stated when booking. That said, the reception staff and kitchen did their best to accommodate our late arrival.

Delicious and high quality options for breakfast were the norm. The sheer number of options from fresh breads, cheeses, egg dishes and traditional Austrian cuisine was fantastic. Dinner courses were creative and delicious and the afternoon "Snack" was full of choices. The amenities were world class with multiple pools and spa settings.
