Friendly staff, lively bar room Staff not available during early check-in hours. You are provided with a key code. Weird plumbing sounds when you use the hot water (sounds like a foghorn!) and loud exhaust fan when kitchen is in operation.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely. Breakfast was magnificent. Location was excellent and easy parking. To get in was tricky as the Inn does not have people to receive you and the remote door opening didn’t work. There isn’t any mobile reception there so I couldn’t access my messages for the code. I think an open WiFi account would help.

The bed and pillow were comfy and the shower was great, I would recommend the main meals My room had signs of not been cleaned thoroughly, see the dust on the top of the clock, behind the TV, coffee/tea marks on the kettle when I checked in

Lovely area and we both really enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. Lovely atmosphere, would highly recommend to others.

A very Yorkshire country pub experience. I've stayed here before and love the warm atmosphere. The rooms are very traditional with large bathrooms and good quality liquid soaps and hand creams. Very clean and cosy with the typical Yorkshire teas and coffee, biscuits etc. It's a popular venue with the locals and the farmers quiz night was a real treat. Great freshly cooked food (farmer portions). The staff are very friendly and the views are great. I'll be back again. Not really an issue for me but.....The small flat screen tv is positioned on the wall so you can see it best from the bed. I'm an early bird and breakfast didn't start until 09:00 ish so too late for me but may be better for tourists.

If you want to experience the quintessential ‘British Pub’ - then look no further than The Street Head Inn …. great staff, superb atmosphere, good selection of cask ales, convivial friendly surroundings, roaring open fire, lovely accommodation - it’s got the lot …. - and that’s before I mention the food !! …. - the carvery Sunday Lunch is exceptional, and has to be experienced to be believed …. - needless to say, this sets the scene for for every other item on the menu - it’s all mouth watering …. - congratulations to ‘Mine Host’ and all the staff, for producing such an experience …. Absolutely nothing ….
