The location in Liérganes is magical. I have wanted to stay for a while. Finally made it happen in July. The hotel is a beautiful building rich with history. I loved the small house next to the river to read. Playing croquet in the walled garden. The brother and sister who run the hotel were friendly and told us about the history. Showed us the family chapel. Rooms were spacious and lovely. Bed was very comfortable. Great to walk around the village in the evening or early morning as it’s so peaceful. I will be returning again without doubt. Only thing to improve could be the breakfast. Allow guests to choose which pastry for example. Add some fruit or egg option. We have stayed in many smaller inns and the selection is more nurturing. The presentation however is great! The experience was special. Loved the dishes and dining room. Wish it was warm enough to enjoy outside as well. And if you are a light sleeper or plan to sleep in, it’s an older building where you can hear people in next room. Did not bother me and it goes quiet to sleep at night.

Family run bed and breakfast with the brother and sister team being very friendly and great host. We got a little tour and history lesson on the building and the chapel attached to the building. Beautiful rooms with all the amenities. Lovely breakfast in the morning with strong coffee:) In the evenings before dinner our group took advantage of the garden/yard near the river. Great view of the mountains.

There was so many things we loved about our stay but to name some; - The owner and her brother helped us to understand more about the history of the property and showed us the lovely spacious room and the garden which was like a fairy tale, especially the little house by the river. - The cleaning was outstanding. - The kind lady who served us a healthy freshly prepared breakfast in a beautifull dining room. - The restaurant recommendations we got where very helpfull, for the dinner recommendation restaurant we went twice, amazing. - The calming sounds of the river. -It's very unique Nothing, besides we should have booked longer.

Location was excellent. Hotel owner was very accommodating and helpful, but having limited stuff made checked-in a little bit tiresome. Although the property is beautiful it’s way outdated and requires at least walls plastering and painting. Not enough or conveniently placed electrical sockets. Soundproofing not exist, so at least owner should not place people with kids on a top floor or advise people to be quite at night.
