Everything! What a lovely well-designed hotel! Nothing.

It was in a great location to see the local area. Loud street noise, the whole place felt like I was in the 70s. Also, my tub drain was so slow that I couldn’t use the tub more than once and then it was it was covered in soap scum.

I didn't get to stay here as they canceled my reservation while I was on a flight into the country...I only got notice of cancelation upon landing and no explanation why as I had previously communicated to them that I would be checking in at 1am of the following day due to where I was flying from The attitude I received when I called and the fact that I got no explanation as to why my booking wad canceled yet i was still charged a no show fee

Unfortunately didn’t have a good time. Our room was dark, the AC smelled terribly, checkin ran late.. the hotel doesn’t intend to be a modern place and thats ok, but some things need to be updated such as power outlets by the nightstand.. Definitely not what I expected of a 4 stars hotel.

Antara is a gem. Don’t expect brand new and shiny. Antara is full of character and charm, with antiques, art and memorabilia providing an elegant yet cosy vibe. Beautifully appointed rooms with amenities rarely found in hotels of similar value in Peru (fridge, hairdryer). The rooms and bathrooms are truly spacious and the beds very comfortable. Beautiful monogrammed linen was an added touch. The staff went out of their way to support our needs. We had tours booked out of Lima and went back and forth a couple of times. The staff readily stored our excess luggage on both occasions and we were delighted with upgraded rooms on our return. The breakfast buffet was very good, in a lovely intimate setting and with a good range of fresh and cooked foods. We dined in the restaurant with the Menu’ Primaveral de Casa (spring menu of the house). Delicious and excellent value. The location is terrific. Easy to find and our tour bus collected at the door. Situated in the heart of Miraflores there is a very good supermarket next door and cafes, restaurants and bars abound in a vibrant neighborhood. An immensely walkable area, I recommend walking to the coast for beautiful views . Within a 15 minute walk is the expansive artisan market area worth exploring for the colour and texture, and good deals on souvenirs. We hope to return one day. There was very little not to like. One suggestion: whilst hot water was readily available from the very helpful restaurant staff, tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would be perfect.

Check in was super late but it was my fault I did not doble check

No matter what time we arrived for brekfast, the pancakes/waffles were room temperature

The rooms were too hot, the central heating was up to high and there was no way to control it in the room

great place, helpful staff, awesome location, great buffet breakfast A little old and slightly run down in some facilities

Friendly, great area, we left at 6am so they gave us lunchboxes for breakfast, good vibe
