Hotel Continental Lima is a solid option if you're staying in the historic center of Lima. The location is excellent, right near Plaza San Martín, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and some of the city's main attractions. Perfect for exploring downtown on foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or local tips. Check-in was smooth and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with decent space and basic amenities. Some rooms have nice city views too! There’s Wi-Fi available, and it works well for regular browsing and communication. The breakfast is simple but tasty, with fresh options like fruits, bread, and eggs. Just a small note: the hotel is in an older building, so some areas (like bathrooms or hallways) could use a little updating. Also, due to the central location, it can get a bit noisy, especially during the day. Overall, a great value for the price, especially if you're looking to stay in the heart of Lima with good service and comfort.

Location and the area. Loved Lima and its people. They have overcharged us by about $20 from booking.com reservation price, claiming that their rate is 4 to 1 dollar and not 3.60, which was the exchange rate on booking.com and every exchange place in Lima. The receptionist wasn't really helpful in terms of giving information about the town, taxi, or visiting places in Lima.

The staff were nice, and the hotel is good value for money The room felt a little bit musty, and dated, and the window wouldn't close properly so I was cold, and the walls were very thin and I could hear the other people in their rooms. But it is good value for money

Very central location. Travelling with my daughter (aged 60 and 32) We requested a twin room with bath when checking if possible, so we could soak after doing the Inca Trail. We got a lovely big twin room with bath and shower. Breakfast was good, not a huge variety but decent. We arrived at 8pm exhausted and asked Brian one of the staff about food nearby. He told us about good chicken and chips nearby at Rocky’s and even offered to go for it to bring back! Just over £10 equivalent and came with salad and various dipping sauces! Brain was so lovely and thrilled with our tip. The receptionist was also great and helped us locate a local dentist my daughter needed. Nothing.
