Excellent location and breakfast. Had to pay for car park.

Plenty of parking, a clean room with two comfortable single beds. Breakfast was excellent, very good choice of food. A great location close to the cathedral and castle. Daily parking charge (£7) felt a bit steep. Some of the overall decor is looking tired and needs refreshing.

Location was perfect. Right beside the old town of Lincoln City and bustling with culture. The Cathedral next door is exceptional and is absolutely brimming with history. The old Lincoln Gaol is just a short walk and the tour is definitely worth doing. Around the immediate locality is the old city of Lincoln with an impressive street named Steep hill just around the corner from the hotel. At the top are some really good traditional shops and further down the hill has some great restaurants and bars. Be warned. If you treck down you must come back up and the street lives up to its name. But well worth a nosey around. Hotel was ok, lacked a little cleanliness and could do with a paint job. I wasn't happy about being charged to park in the car park after paying for my room.

Great view of the cathedral from the room. Updated clean bathroom. Lovely staff and an excellent breakfast. The car park was good value too. Very well situated for the cathedral and castle. The room was tired with a grubby carpet, peeling paintwork round the window and no functioning air conditioning. Even with both windows open we had a very sweaty night.

We stayed for a few days in August, the location was excellent! The staff were exceptional! Very welcoming! The bed was very comfortable too, every thing was really clean! The property itself could do with a bit of updating, but that was about the only thing, it didn’t spoil our enjoyment of staying there!

Location. Friendly staff. Not that well equipped for the heat wave! Eggs benedict at breakfast were a little trying.

The location was incredible - super convenient for the cathedral and surrounding area. Parking was easy to access. It was nice to be able to arrive to Lincoln and not have to drive anymore. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. We were there during the heatwave and the room was hot. We'd brought our own fan in preparation but it would be nice if the hotel proactively offered fans or similar when it gets to 30 degrees.

Great breakfast in a lovely dining room with wonderful views. Great location for some superb shops. The beds were not very well made, in fact we had to make them again before going to bed.

Breakfast good and good air conditioned public areas The room was dangerously hot, no fridge to accommodate cold drinks and medicines. Fan provided only moved warm air around. No drinking bottles provided and cold water in tap ran very hot! Unable to enjoy a cold shower.

Perfect location. Room was lovely only thing no air conditioning. But they provided us with 2 fans. Staff were lovely No A/C in the bedrooms

The view of the cathedral was excellent. The bed was really comfortable and the room was a really good size. The balcony hadn't been cleaned recently and there were lots of cobwebs on the partitions. The sink and bath were slow to drain.
