the view from the room was amazing. enjoyed the pool on day 1 could not get near it day 2 as a large 70 - 80 person high school group were there dominating the whole place. Bed was very uncomfortable - 2 single beds pushed together had a gap in the middle of the bed. Scratchy bed sheets. Bath towels were thin. Shower had mould. The hotel shuttle was good to have but the man did not care about my bag at all tossing it around and broke a wheel - now I need a new bag as it cannot be wheeled with only one wheel! very annoying!

We had to catch a boat early in the morning before the breakfast opens and they offered us coffees and cornetti at the bar anyway. Not very comfortable mattress. The swimming pool was not very clean and they planned to clean it the same day we arrived (fair enough, it was needed) The whole hotel is like a travel back in time ! The decorations and the furniture make you feel like you’re back in the 80s (but they have wifi!) I am not sure it’s a bad thing as it’s actually fun !

Wonderful location next to the sea. Patio was beautiful and swimming pool well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The hotel is located close to where the fresh water tanker docks so there is an occasional humming sound, however the waves do a good job to minimise the noise. Lots of steps. Hard to get the room dark to sleep because of outside lighting. Otherwise everything was fine.

This hotel is situated on the cliff not far from the small harbour where the pleasure trips depart. It is a little old fashioned, but clean, comfortable and charming. The breakfast balcony and pool area are exceptional as well as the private steps down to the sea. Staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed four nights and we really enjoyed it. Nothing really. Rooms were a little small with too much furniture but everything else was fine.

Excellent location with access to the sea and its own pool area. AC worked perfectly and rooms were reliably cleaned. Also a good service at the hotel bar. The individual room was a bit small and the desk was also rather small. But I guess that's fine if you want to stay at the pool most of the time anyway.

The staff was really nice. The view from the hotel is amazing. Unfortunately the view from my room was not that amazing :(

All in all it's a great hotel: staff is super-friendly, facilities are good, cleaning is very discreet, the food in the restaurant is good as well (recommended: gelato melone alla casa). There is a great terrace with a salt-water swimming-pool and a breathtaking view, also a direct access to the sea. Breakfast is great, excellent coffee. Bartolomeo transfered us kindly to the ferry in the early morning with the luggages for free. The room was really tiny, and we had mosquitos.

location and accommodations just a little small

The hotel offers a lot of facilities: we liked the little access to the sea, the location in Lipari but out of the crowded streets, the free shuttle they offer at arrival/departure, the shower facility that you can use after the checkout. We ate there 1 night and the food was very good. The staff was very kind. We will go back when in Lipari. Somehow we were not fully satisfied by the breakfast options, despite the selection was large. The forniture in the rooms is old, but for us the pros were much more.

The location is marvelous with a walk to the sea and to local restaurants The hotel is very tired and old fashioned and needs a complete overall. The breakfast was dismal in every way, We fortunately did not eat dinner there
