Rocce Azzurre

The property is located in a great place in close proximity to the beach, port and old town. It is humble, but well-maintained. The room was dated, but clean, big and comfortable. The communication was clear and friendly. AC is really old, loud, and not so effective. Food in the restaurant is not really delicious though it has good performance price/value. If you leave hotel before 8 am, you will need to pay for the transfer 20 euros. Plastic Sunbeds are often broken. Internet was tricky

Net to beach. Beautiful view. AC did not work in room 101 and it was burning hot most of the stay. I had to leave the door open to the hall at any chance of survival and other guest would look in at us. The heat was like nothing I felt before radiating from windows. Stay said it would get cool eventually but after 3 days of the blinds fully closed it never got anywhere else than the outside temp

Excellent location and rooms well appointed. The setting adds to a certain charm. Collection and return to port helpful and very efficient. Reception staff friendly. The hotel is a little tired. The breakfast staff were disinterested and seemed to have clocked off after a long season (we were staying in the last week of September). The sunbathing platform needs an upgrade with the steps into the sea broken and lying to one side.

Great view, right beside swimmable beach. Picked us up at port. Very friendly staff. Oh and great breakfast.

The staff is amazing and very helpful. Ariana is an amazing woman, she has been helping us to find our lost wedding ring and helped us in Carabinieri to translate everything. Ariana also prepared a "take-away breakfast" for our very early check-out which really helped us :) The views from the apartament and Hotel restaurant are amazing. Location is also great, near to the beach, port and shops. Everything is great and we would love to spend there more time! -

The hotel was very close to the town approx ten minutes walk and had its own bathing deck with sunbeds and sunshades . There was also a small beach just a few yards away. The breakfast was very good and to be able to have it on the terrazza was a bonus. The view from the room was exceptional, could see Sicily and mainland Italy. Would like to return

The fabulous location. A very spacious room. A corner room with 2 spectacular balconies with stunning view. A swimming platform. There is No wifi in the rooms. The hotel Wifi is old and not updated..: the staff try to tell you it doesn’t work With an iPhone. Every guest was complaining about having to come to the lounge to try and get a connection in this day and age this isn’t acceptable. Do Not get them To do any clothes washing - 13 items for 46€ and the whites came back pressed but not washed. Adrianna did give a discount for this. But that was then 20€ for 6 items washed. While they tell you not to drink the water, there is none provided.. not even a daily small courtesy bottle.

A very Sicilian, family-run hotel. Beautiful views from our room. Enjoyed the swimming deck. The setting on an outcrop of rocks in the sea is lovely. Very good food!

Beautiful view of the sea. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Fairly good dinner. No issues really. Probably a little dated, but that has charm as well.

Hotel Rocce Azure Review We stayed in this beautiful family run hotel for 4 nights. A great base for exploring all the Aeolian Islands from. We were touched by the kindness and generosity of all the staff, (In particular the gregarious owner Adriano, Frederico who treats you like royalty at each meal and Francesco and Jessica to name a few). The rooms are spacious and meticulously cleaned by a lovely lady every morning and towels replaced as needed. On our first day our ferry from Milazzo was delayed by several hours and we arrived at the hotel at 2330hrs. Even tho the kitchen closes at 2130hrs the staff had stayed behind to serve us a delicious meal. On another occasion our ferry from Stromboli was late returning and despite the fact the kitchen had just closed they prepared a three course meal. On all occasions this hotel goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable. The balcony view looking out over the bays azure water & boats is delightful. The food is delicious and the 3 course menu changes each night. All meals are served on a balcony with magical views over looking the bay. The hotel basks in sun all day and there is a platform with numerous lounge chairs and easy access to swimming. The hotel is situated an easy short walk from the town of Lipari. The hotel is very quiet and we are so glad we stayed here. We would highly recommend this hotel to all travellers who are looking for a very special experience. Nothing

Views of water Room was nothing like pictured. Breakfast offerings disappointing. Rooms and common areas look very tired and in need of a complete makeover.

Returning after 12 years - super convenient location, free shuttle, amazing views, fantastic bathing platform and super helpful reception staff.

location rudest staff ever air conditioning did not work which is why we left after 1day. I’m still trying to get my money back and would appreciate your help.
