It was such a nice property that has been well maintained in a nice neighborhood off the path, but walking distance from the main square. Nothing.
-
Beautiful hotel, staff was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Surrounding streets have become trashy and the area outside the door is a neighborhood hangout. Never felt unsafe but not a pleasant way to walk into your hotel.

Staff was wonderful and rooms were clean

The accommodations were excellent! The room was large and recently renovated. Huge beautiful bathroom. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. Everything was great!
-
Beautiful place and the staff was INCREDIBLE. Very helpful and friendly The building itself was beautiful but the location felt a bit insecure
-
Cool funky room. Very clean and comfortable. The area is in transition but we felt safe and had good access to transportation. The staff were spectacularly pleasant and helpful.
-
Well maintained, nicely decorated. Breakfast was very nice.

Such a beautiful hotel and clever renovation of an old historic building. Staff were all very friendly and genuinely interested in chatting to know more about what we might want and what we might be interested in - in practically any language! Staff at the restaurant were great, too. And the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. The location is a little bit far from the most interesting areas of Lisbon. It is in a part of town that is a little down-at-heel. Not dangerous in any way, but just a little shabby. It seems to be in the process of restoring older buildings so is almost certainly improving. This was NOT a major issue, though. It is easy to get around by cab, by Uber, by tram or other public transport. Just worth keeping in mind if you want to be in the heart of what there is to see and do in Lisbon.

Clean and comfortable

Beautiful building, excellent staff, good breakfast Location, many young, seems unemployed man hanging outside of the hotel.

The front desk staff were fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable room. The little things had a big impression - bottled water, welcome drinks, sweets and shots the first night, breakfast to go on our departure morning. Location - would be nicer if it were further along in the ‘up and coming’.
-
I loved the design of the hotel and the breakfast at the attached restaurant included was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I did not realize when I booked that outside would have a bombed out look with graffiti everywhere and large groups of men hanging around the square in front in the evening. Was very unattractive to look at.

I think the location is close to a lot but I visited a lot of neighborhoods throughout my stay and I think I would look elsewhere my next time through
-
Helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Great location though in and up and coming area. Nicely designed hotel in public areas and rooms. Reasonable bar prices. Great recommendation to a local fish restaurant. We will stay here again. Bed linens could have been nicer.
-
Very helpful staff. Andre made us feel at home and helped us get settled. He was very amicable and professional. The room was good and cozy. The view was great. Loved the blackout shades/shutters. My wife and I slept in for the first time in probably close to a decade since we had kids! Great location - very close to most things you'll want to try and do. The bed was a little firm for my wife's taste, but I didn't mind at all.
-
A little out of the way but not too bad a walk to a more central location but closer to airport.
-
Staff were super friendly and accommodated our family with an early check in and made sure our rooms were near each other. We enjoyed being on the square listening to the sounds of the city over the weekend. It was a perfect spot for our introduction to Lisboa. Breakfast was good as well! Nothing to add
-
It was a very old building that was well maintained. They had a wonderful restaurant Infame. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed for 3 days then came back a week later and the knew us and welcomed us. It truly felt like coming home. The artwork was awesome and the courtyard vies were fantastic. The outdoor space was not stylish and the tables were dirty.
-
Well located with nearby metro restaurants etc .. the staff was attentive and friendly and the room comfortable… also generous breakfast I think the coffee in breakfast could improve a little .. it’s wrong to put cocoa powder on coffee.. we aren’t in the 90’s anymore

A lively building with lots of character.
