Wifi almost never worked for any of us, it connected for a few minutes and then disconnected.

No 24 hour staff. We had a fire alarm go off one night and it took a couple of hours to get a hold of someone.

access to public transportation Smell of the building and theme construction noise inside the building

There is an elevator and we are glad to be on the third floor since the lockers are on the first floor. It was quite quiet at night. The neighborhood is full of Indian, bangladeshi, and Turkish restaurants. There are markets nearby and is walking distance from all the things you want to see. We would stay here again.

A good central location a short walk from two Metro stops. Comfortable bed. The remote concierge was very responsive via WhatsApp Like most other hotels we stayed at in Portugal, they have not yet discovered bleach as a remedy for mildew in the shower stall. They do not have a full time front desk, so if you arrive before check in, you will use lockers on the first floor - we got the last few, but in high tourist season, you may not be so lucky.

I liked that self check in and check out was easy and the room was nice! I had air conditioning, the beds were comfortable and I was walking distance to the center. There were a lot of stairs to walk up with my luggage.

    Great location

The staff was very friendly. The working of everything was well explained in the messages we received. We loved the possibility to leave our suitcases in storage before the check-in time. The shower was spacious and worked well. Everything was clean. The location was good--only 20 min on foot to the center. The air conditioner worked well. Overall, we had a comfy stay. When the door of our room was closed, there was quite a large gap between the door and the doorframe. Luckily, there was a chain on the inside of the door. If you want to cook, there's only a microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle and small fridge. It was enough for us, though.

Good bed Bad location, really dangerous outside

Needs more lockers for weary travellers that show up before your very late 4 pm check in and no day time receptionist. I think your check in time is absurd.

The check-in process is very smooth and the receptionists are professional and pleasant. There is an elevator that took us to the 4th floor. There is "first day" complimentary coffee (after, it's .80 euros per pod), and the spare bed was already prepared. Close to downtown and restaurants. The room is very small and faces a noisy street. Inspected the bed for bugs...just had a feeling (for the 3 days we were there). Shower literally took minutes to heat up, but was okay when it did. Water had an initial odor due to the pipes...drink bottled water. Need more hangers. Kitchen area is in a very tight space...no cooking stove available. Microwave and frig are very small. Overly priced and Booking.com needs to do a better vetting process. Posted website pictures do not accurately match. Last day there was an saints parade...lasted til 5 in the morning...lots of noise outside the window and police cars roaring up and down the street. Last day the elevator did not work...we walked down 4 flights of stairs with luggage. Fortunately one of the cleaning staff was kind enough to help us.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the suite included a sofa as advertised. There was a small balcony, which had charming ironwork. There is abundant hot water in the shower. It was nice to have an electric kettle to make tea, a refrigerator, and a Delta coffee maker, too. There is a grocery store right across the street where I could buy replacement coffee pods, tea bags, milk, and snacks. The hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the Intendente metro stop, which made the rest of Lisbon easily accessible, and there are many restaurants located within a block or two as well, which was very convenient. It was great that they allowed us to store our luggage in the lockers on the first floor after checkout, and that the lockers fit our large 29" checked bags. This is a small hotel, not really located in a tourist neighborhood, or near any of the major tourist areas, and it has very little presence on the street, with a small sign and an opaque door that opens to a combination code, so it doesn't look very welcoming from the outside. Our room had quite a lot of street noise, especially on Saturday night. The hotel is located in a historic older building, with a quirky layout that made finding the room a bit challenging. Check-in is all-remote and usually there are no staff around, but when we did see cleaning staff, they were friendly. There is no breakfast, and after the first two complimentary coffee pods, they charge for additional pods (so I bought some at the store across the street). The view immediately across the street is of an abandoned-looking building with black cloth covering the upper floors, but the rest of the street view is more respectable.
