The breakfast was the best part of our stay: the staff is so friendly and accommodating; the food was so fresh and delicious; and the space was comfortable and quiet. The room was very clean and spacious. We found that the hotel was tucked away in a quieter neighborhood, but the walk to busier neighborhoods like Chiado or Príncipe Real were only 10-15 minutes.

One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Super cute place with kind and helpful staff members as well as a wonderful breakfast! Location was great- just the right distance from all the buzzy activity but also close enough to walk everywhere. Our room was pretty small but we wanted to try to be somewhat budget conscious.

The location was a little bit off the beaten path. The room was a little small if traveling with multiple bags.

Comfy bed and stylish furnishings The room was exceptionally small

Casa das Janelas com Vista may be one of my favorite places we have stayed worldwide – we actually stayed here twice and returned here for our last night in Lisbon after a quick visit to Madeira. It is a renovated property in the heart of the historic city center. The rooms are finished and decorated with respect to the historic nature of the property – very chic. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is also very quiet, so we could open the windows to enjoy the cool breeze all night and not be disturbed. It is also within walking distance of anywhere we wanted to go – close to main Rossio station for metro and train. The front desk and breakfast/communal areas are down a short set of stairs and rooms are up stairs. There is no elevator, but we knew that before booking and it was not an issue for us, as we did not have any overly large or heavy luggage. Breakfast was beyond expectation. A wonderful spread of fresh bread, pastries and pancakes, with sliced cheeses and turkey, hardboiled eggs or eggs cooked upon request, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals/granola, toppings (honey, nutella, marmalade), as well as fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea – anything you could want to get the day started off well. The staff were phenomenal – very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We loved everything about our stay at Casa das Janelas com Vista! Nothing – everything was perfect!

Thoughtful decor, good location and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, lovely organic tea collection, homemade cake available in the common room.
-
Quiet location, very clean and nice breakfast Our room was on the first floor right near the door. It was very loud when guests were coming and going late at night. Also, loud footsteps from above.
-
Located on a quite street within a reasonable walking distance to many attractions. A cute boutique hotel with a nice sitting area were we enjoyed a glass of wine together. Rooms are small, but totally workable.
-
The location was really good for us. We enjoyed the breakfast and eating/lounge area, as well as the honesty bar. I would have to say the only thing we really did not like was the noise being in room 1. The street was loud, and anytime anyone used the front door, we could hear it open and close.

We actually booked this place for our first couple nights in Lisbon and also our last. We had to cancel the last day because we wanted to be closer to the airport. We were so disappointed because we loved it. The people were so very friendly the room was lovely, the location was convenient and the breakfast was really great. I thought it was the perfect place to start our trip to Portugal. I highly recommend. There is not one thing that I didn’t like!

Room was clean, quiet, and a good location to restaurants, train station was not to far, walkable area.
-
Wonderful boutique hotel. Superb staff. Delicious breakfast. Quiet street and close to everything. Price is a little high. One recommendation: install a big screen smart tv on the wall, there’s room for it plus it would free up space in the room.

Our room was top quality, comfortable and airy, clean and great facilities, a bidet... wonderful!!! Nothing. We stayed a 3rd night !!
-
Small hotel with creative touches. Not the best location to access from subway with luggage.
-
Convenient location! We only stayed for 1 night since we had an odd connecting flight at Lisbon. We nonetheless liked the downtown Lisbon and decided to stay closer to downtown. This place did not disappoint us. The room offers great view in a quiet neighborhood, but also very close to restaurants which stayed open until midnight (in a tourism’s offseason). The hotel breakfast next morning is delicious with plenty of choices. Thanks! If I have to pick one thing, it is probably the size of the room. It is tight for two people, but it works.

Very cute .. lovely design.. really clean .. excellent bear fast ..interesting building in convenient location ? Nothing
-
Beautiful property, very well done, staff incredibly friendly and hospitable. Br sure to let people know there is no elevator so staying on top floor with big suitcases ? was a problem haha
-
Not much We had 4 suitcases to take to the very top floor . Lots of stairs no elevator . Room was super small . Found a dead rat out outside when we arrived

A little gem of a hotel, with lovely staff, great attention to design to make it a home away from home. Clean, comfy and very friendly. Great breakfast with freshly made eggs to your order, and lots of variety.
