The location is amazing - so easy arriving by train, bus or metro and it's on a central street with easy access to everything and close to the old tram line too. The rooms are a little dated, but with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The breakfast had lots of choice and whilst we didn't love everything we tried, we all found something we liked every day to get off to a good start, with sweet, savoury and fruits. The pool was a good addition, but the water was very cold so we didn't all use it (and we were there in August!). The air conditioning units are quite noisy outside and the windows don't block out the noise at all (we had two rooms and the one that was at at the front of the hotel - room 301 -, i thought the window was open as I could hear every word being said in the street and was surprised it was closed!). It was missing a full-length mirror in the bedroom. The bath was very slippy. The shower when cleaned was left with the nozzle on full, pointing at the wall so when you turned it on the shower ended up flooding the whole area.

Fantastic breakfast with fresh ingredients every day. The range of foods were brilliant and the atmosphere was great! We had a very quiet room at tgd back of the building. The lovely staff were so helpful and friendly. They were 5 star! The brilliant location was an amazing bonus! This hotel is in a vibrant, historical part of Lisbon, easy to get to places by foot or tram. The range of little restaurants and bars were wonderful in this area and we loved the little cobbled streets! Beautiful hotel and area! We paid for a superior room but it was very small and there was very little space to get around the bed so you occasionally banged your shoulder on the television. The decor was tired and the air conditioning unit was at one end so it was very breathless at night. The beds were short (I’m 6’3 and so my feet we’re hanging off the end). The room did not look like the photos. We booked well in advance so it would have been lovely to have had a pretty room. Having said this, the room was immaculately clean, the shower was great and it was quiet. I would just phone and check which room you have been allocated before arrival.

Staff and breakfast was good especially Maria at the desk that made my stay enjoyable. My room had obviously not been updated compared with my friends room. Very old and tired room and there was a smell.

The room was excellent, more like a mini suite. Would have loved a mirror in the dressing room, and a rubber mat in the bath as it was very slippery, and would have loved toiletries in the bathroom. Variety of food.

The Breakfast was amazing, ideal for all dietary needs. The location was amazing only 5 mins walk from the main train station, and right in front of street serving food. N/A

Exceptional

We thought the location was good and parking was ok for us as we travelled by motorbike and parked next to hotel. We did not use the pool but looked ok for the size of the hotel area. We didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast and that was okay. Didnt like no staff in the pool area in order to get a drink.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and fairly spacious. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were excellent.
