Hotel Moon & Sun Lisboa

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was courteous and friendly. The location was perfect. Thank you specially to the receptionist, who checked us in (1:40 am). He was very welcoming and professional.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The location was superb. We opted to include breakfast, which was light, but good. The hotel was able to easily set up airport transfers for us. The beds were too firm for us.

Room was a bit cramped. Fact there are so many hills in Lisbon, nice to have a centralized locatoin in a flatter area with the Moon & Sun.

Location only I have very strong reasons to believe that this hotel is not a 4‑star property. At best, it could be considered a good 2‑star or an average 3‑star hotel, and it does not provide the services expected even from a proper 3‑star facility. Immediately upon entering the elevator, there is an awful smell. In the room, it is impossible to stay without keeping the window open because it stinks coming from the bathroom. There is no proper closet where guests can store their clothes. The so‑called “closet” consists of a few hangers placed above the kitchen area as shown in the photo. The coffee machine and refrigerator cannot be turned off because there is no accessible power outlet, so when the hotel claims to offer free coffee, this is simply not true unless one moves the entire kitchen unit into the hallway. The room is extremely small, without even a single chair where one could place personal items. There are far too many pillows on the bed, and since there is no space to put them anywhere, they all end up on the floor when one tries to sleep.

Location Room didn’t have much storage or drawer space. Lobby coffee machine was not available in the mornings when it is needed most as it was returned to the adjacent restaurant.

Location was fantastic, very close to a lot of attractions, including the Rossio Square Christmas market. Lots of grocery stores, souvenier shops and good restaurants in the area. 30 min walking distance to a lot of landmarks. Very close to bus and metro stations. Breakfast was especially good, very delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

The included breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh choices and lovely table setting. Our room was beautiful and we appreciated the welcome glass of wine and cake in our room. Great reception and help with a map. The restaurant that served lunch and dinner at the hotel (and out on the pedestrian walk) was terrible. The staff harassed people walking by to sit down and the lunch we had was very poor and over salted.

Location was great. The staff was very helpful and the room was super clean. We had a blast.

As advertised the room was small. The hotel seemed pretty new and in good shape. Breakfast was very good. Good location.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was clean. The staff was amazing. The location was so central and wonderful to so many things. I know there’s a lotta hotels in Lisbon, but I don’t think I could’ve picked a better one. It was just perfect in every way. Absolutely nothing!

This hotel is excellent in everything, great location, nice staff. nothing
