A quiet, peaceful place to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of city centre, and after long days walking the hills! Staff were delightful and very friendly. An oasis! Nothing to fault at all

The patio breakfast room was gorgeous and the food and service excellent. There is a Thai massage parlor three doors away which I availed myself three times!

The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We received several compliments from the staff at the beginning of our stay and on Valentine’s Day ?, which was very nice. The breakfast was also good, and it was great that it was served until 10/11 in the morning. The reception and cleaning staff were very polite and kind. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close. There was also no option to control the air conditioning ourselves, it was necessary to call reception to adjust the room temperature. Additionally, the window was not well sound-insulated, so some outside noise could be heard.

The hotel was new and beautiful. It is in the heart of Alfama. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They recommended a wonderful restaurant nearby and held our luggage because we arrived prior to check in. The location is tricky and sometimes Google maps did not map it properly. Use Apple maps on your phone instead.

The staff at this hotel are amazing and go out of their way to support anything you need and make you feel at home. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed and have all the delicious luxuries: bathrobes, fancy ample toiletries, a lovely writing desk nook. this place is a bit pricey but totally worth it

The staff was amazing. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. A special thank you to Joana at reception that went above and beyond with suggestions, directions etc. Rita from the breakfast room is such a special caring person with beautiful personality and beautiful presentation of the food. The food was delicious! She went out of her way to make our stay over the Christmas holiday feel at home and extra special. Special thanks to Daniel that greeted us the night we arrived and to Flavio for assisting us with the purchase of or train tickets. Thank you to the entire staff. Staff were extremely helpful and room was clean and very cozy. I would recommend and definitely stay here again. We travel to Portugal often to visit family. It was further from plaza than i had hoped but the walk was not to bad.
