It’s the perfect stay if your going to a cruce, we stayed three night before sailing aways and it had the best view of the port, de best location Alfama very lively neighborhood, Faz Figura Downstairs has the best Portuguese food with a beautiful view. The staff was always polite and very helpful. The bed was very squeeky, that’s it

Only 1 thing: Because it's an old building, it smells musty.

The location and waterfront view was nice and we felt it was secure. Valencia was very helpful and available once we were inside thee building. Kitchen area is convenient although we didn't use it i noticed some did. It was nice to see other travelers in the building to visit with. There was no communication as to how we were to access the building once we arrived from the airport. I called, no answer. It was stressful for us as we are from the US and don't speak the language. We were dropped off from Bolt rideshare and weren't sure what to do. Door was locked. She must have heard us i guess because she came down quickly and showed us in. She was very helpful by explaining all we needed to know for our stay. The room is sparce, not a problem but doesnt lend to spending time in the room. The fan in the bathroom chirped so we didn't run it anymore than necessary. The shower overflowed because the water fills the shower pan too quickly and doesn't drain well. Hot water ran out. The TV was very precariously attached to the wall.so didn't use it for fear it would fall down. For these reasons we made our time in the room only as needed and probably will not return or recommend it.

Beautiful little room with a view. Close to the station A trick to find?

Ra Paraiso is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the breakfast which made my day start great and continue as Ra Paraiso is located very close to both the train and bus so it was very easy to get around Lisbon and where I needed to be. I loved this place and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Location - Dirty bathroom- simple changes that can be visually appealing-
-
Storm Claudia produced strong rain and winds before my Transatlantic cruise but great restaurants within walking distance.

Great place ideally situated near downtown and one of the train stations. Great breakfast. Very welcoming.

The views were great. The breakfast was decent. The location in the alfama is great for walking around. However, arriving was frightening. The facade is such a state of disrepair that it felt like a scam until I called and the manager popped his head out of a window and said he was coming down to let us in. Our bedroom was in need of a deep clean. There was a thick layer of dirt on the ceiling fan. One of the workers cleaned it but left the debris all over the floor. Our bathroom was located down the hall separate from our room and although we were told it would be exclusively ours during out stay, some of our items were thrown away after our first of two nights. We were also asked to move rooms after our first night because they'd put us in the wrong room. I would not recommend this location.

The location and view. The entrance was difficult to find. Smelly entrance. Stairway had no sign. No air conditioning.
-
It's close to many points of interest of Lisbon. A lot of space, well organized Bathroom door - couldn't be closed, bathroom ceiling was too low We couldn't use a downstairs toilet, even if the place was open for us to leave the luggage and wait for out flight on the last day.

Loved the balcony, the location was in the heart of Alfama, a beautiful historic part of Lisbon. Breakfast was a plus!

I personally liked the location, lot of monuments by walking distance, nice view to dock and river. We couldn’t find it, it needs to have some kind of sign on doors. Breakfast was weak, it’s from 8:30, we came 8:35 and there were plenty of things missing and nobody was filling them.

It was located right near Apolonia Train Station, so it was convenient to head to Proto from there. The 3rd floor entry needs a sign that says Ra Paraiso. It was confusing to locate the entrance of the hotel door. I asked a neighbour in the building which floor it was on. And no-one was initially there.

Really lovely view and comfortable room. The shared kitchen was well stocked and the included breakfast was good. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel space was very bright. Once you were on the correct floor, the property felt secure with a code required to enter the hotel and to enter your room. The entrance to the building was very sketchy with a broken hole in the glass door which was unlocked all the time. It wasn’t clear in the booking, but you actually have to go up four flights of stairs to get to the hotel floor. The staff also wasn’t at the front desk all the time so make sure to notify them of your expected arrival time.

Breakfast was great no issues whatsoever very late breakfast coffee was a bit cold some mornings, but all in all very happy with it Struggled with the elevator and television did not work

Very good staff, tasty breakfast, comfy bed, good location because there is a train station and bus stop nearby. The ventilator in the bathroom should be changed and maybe the shower head as well because the water stream was weak. Walls are quite thick you can hear your neighbors and every door slam but overall I would come back and recommend this place for couples it's a good price for what you get! ;)

- Location was excellent - walking distance to the train station, Pantheon and the Military Museum. - Staff was very courteous and helpful. - Although it was mentioned that room is with a private bathroom but it was not attached (though exclusive) but still we had to go down the corridor to use it. - When you enter the building, there was no signage as it was a multi-purpose building with different offices at various floors.
