Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu

Loved the breakfast, location & all the helpful staff. Everyone was so friendly.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room and bathroom with AC, TV and Wi-Fi. Included breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious with variety of offerings. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of Lisbon, the water and beyond. There is a miradouro (overlook) next door where people gather to enjoy the view, food, drinks, music and the sunset. Be aware the hotel is situated in a historic zone and only taxis or authorized vehicles can bring you to the door. Uber and Bolt can not. The hotel can arrange airport transfers. There was excellent communication with the hotel staff.

Staff was great, breakfast great, the best thing was the rooftop dining area,perfect view, really beautiful It seemed too old not vintage, and the toilet wasnt perfectly clean, or it was also very old so couldn't look clean, not certain. I did have the cheapest and smallest room,maybe that is the difference.

This property has a rooftop breakfast and bar with fantastic views of the city and water. The staff was extremely welcoming with suggestions of what to do and see. The breakfast was super and provided another chance to admire amazing views of the area. I thought the room a bit on the expensive side, and the view from the room somewhat obscured, but you'd definitely still want to pay the bit extra for a view. Overall, the accessible view from the building top made the whole experience worth it.

We had a very nice stay! The ladies in charge of breakfast, reception and hospitality are just amazing! They were extremely helpful and friendly. They did a great job making sure all of our needs were met, and with a smile!!! Our room was small but cozy and comfortable. The bed was great! I had the best shower ever in our 9 weeks touring Portugal at this hotel! The rainfall shower head provided plentiful hot water and excellent pressure! The rooftop patio had spectacular views of Lisbon and the harbor. The breakfast was incredible and delicious! I would wish for more vegan pastry options for those of us with dairy allergies.

The hotel is in a great location in the historic district. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants, bus and ferry terminals. It also had a nice breakfast. Since it is located in the historic district, a driver with a special pass to lower the bollards is required. The hotel did advise of this requirement prior to our arrival, so we were able to book one of their taxis.

Nothing important, some hooks would be useful around the door for coats and bags, and the shower head was hard to fix in the right position since its holder was too loose.

View is very nice and staff was attentive and friendly.
