Clean, quaint, comfortable Room was a little small

Lovely facility. Restaurant surprisingly decent given it was pretty much the only option nearby. Beautiful grounds. We needed a car in order to get to the town or ruins nearby, just something to keep in mind. In the heat and with no sidewalks it really wasn't walkable, at least for us.

Location is ideal if you like to stay in Alfama area. Probably the rooms are small, but the room layout works well.

This hotel is near lots of things and is totally walkable to castles, tin fish stores, public transportations, tuk-tuks and lots of restaurants. Great location to be able to do lots in a few days!

Location is excellent; near everything downtown and fabulous experience in Alfama. Rooms are tiny; little space to set bags. But it is Alfama.. so understandable.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff was absolutely lovely. Upon arrival, hotel employeeat the front desk offered me a shot of ginjha and a coffee. He said there would be 2 gifts waiting for me in the hotel room: pastel de natas & free minibar.

We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Alfama and would happily return. The location is one of its biggest strengths—nestled in the heart of Alfama, it’s perfect for exploring Lisbon’s historic streets, viewpoints, and nearby attractions on foot. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel itself feels calm and relaxing. Service was another highlight. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or any requests. It really added a personal touch to the experience. A special shout out to Deni, Lincoln and Simone as they went above and beyond to answer any and all questions and did it with a smile every time. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, Pousada Alfama offers a great combination of location, comfort, and hospitality. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic stay in Lisbon If we had to point out one small downside, it would be that the surrounding streets can be a bit steep and tricky with luggage—but that’s part of Alfama’s charm. If you don’t want to walk uphill with your luggage get an Uber so you can be dropped off right in front of the hotel. You will not regret it- Believe me.

Amazing location, the front desk staff was so friendly. The room was nice and clean. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the morning. Would highly recommend for a lovely place to stay in the Alfama neighborhood, N/A

The location was good. The room and common areas were clean. Staff was professional. The rooms are VERY cramped, beds small, nowhere to even unpack a bag. Generally overrated. I’ve stayed at much better in Lisboa for less.

This hotel was beautiful and the stuff were very nice and very helpful. Nothing really.
