The location was perfect and this one hasn't have metro lines under it which makes the nights more pleasant.

Absolutely perfect location!! Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Agree with other reviews that reception area could be updated, but the rooms and bathrooms were wonderful!

The location in just perfect to all activities we did and the staff were all amazing and very helpful. The property needs some updates.

Was right in the middle of the old section of the city. Close to all the sights.

The location is excellent and makes it very easy to explore Lisbon on foot. The room was modern and the staff were polite. The location is excellent, but we were disappointed by several aspects of our stay. The double bed we had requested was not available, the soundproofing was poor, and there was a constant dripping noise from the air conditioner. The bathroom could also have been cleaner, particularly under the toilet rim. Overall, the stay was fine, but for the price paid, we expected a better experience.

Location The room we were put in had a moldy smell that we couldn’t get rid of even while opening the windows. It was almost unbearable. The coffee was terrible. Staff that checked us in was very rude.

The staff was AMAZING!! Every single person we encountered at the reception during our 4 night stay in the 8 was exceptionally nice and welcoming. The location is unbeatable, a few minute walk to major attractions, we didn’t need to take Ubers or public transport even once during our stay. The room was also very clean and confortable. I would definitely recommend the 8 for anyone visiting Lisbon!!

Such a cute and quirky hotel in a fabulous location to see downtown Lisbon. Nice little touches added to the room. No outlet in bathroom. However this is an old building so I get it. It wasn't a big deal for me. There was a built in hairdryer in the bathroom

location 1. The smell in the rooms was terrible a mix of humidity and dust. 2. The sheets were old and not clean 3. The bathroom also smelled 4. the room was not cleaned properly Told them that I had asthma and could not sleep in that kind of room, when they showed me a different room it was in the same conditions - obviously I didn't accept due to the low conditions of the room. Administration refused to get an agreement and call it a day. I ended up booking a nearby hotel for a few more euros. Don't stay here, for 50 more euros you can find so much better hotels, cleaner and better location. Awful response from booking too even tho I am a genius level 3 VIP (not even know what that means) I will try next time to book directly from hotels and not through platforms.

For exploring Lisbon, the location of the hotel is ideal! It is close to many good restaurants, easy to find and friendly staff. The hotel and rooms are basic, but if you are staying in the city with the idea to explore and not spend too much time in the hotel (e.g. your aim is not great facilities), then this hotel ticks all the boxes. One of the evenings (a Saturday night) the area and the hotel was very noisy, but that is always a risk with staying central.
