We Love F Tourists: Hostel

It was a week-end to remember. Both stuff and the organizations were exceptional

Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent Rooms were very small and very hot (AC and no ventilation). Dorm was so small it was awkward to even open up your luggage. Plus, there was no AC. Although it wasn’t even hot in Lisbon during my stay, there was zero fresh air from the window and the small fan didn’t do the job. Sleeping in the top bunk was unbearably hot. I don’t understand how this hostel can run in the summertime without proper fans for the top bunks.

We choose a double room with my boyfriend but bed was not double sized, it was 2 single bed moving together. That is why it wasn’t comfortable and bed sheets always slipped away while sleeping. Also the area we stayed was shared bathroom, it wasn’t smell good and I think it would have been more cleaner.

The staff is exceptionally kind. They were very helpful with all information about Lisbon and putting on events, and giving you info on your next destination Warning: no AC Do not stay in the 6-bed dorm. The building has no AC, and the dorm is on the 6th floor (the attic) of the building. The sun cooks it all day, and the room was unbearably hot all day and night. There is one small window that barely opens, and the room is extremely cramped space wise. Also, the bathrooms get extremely hot throughout the day, and the kitchen is very tiny with little to no fridge space or storage space.

Great location and cleanliness. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were the best and most special parts. I would definitely come back during a cooler time of year. The room was very hot during the night; even the fan didn't help. Maybe a better fan would help.

The staff are great and helpful. Location was perfect There was a bug on the counter in the am when I was getting my things to go. The people I was sharing a room with were not respectful with understanding people are sleeping after 11pm quiet hours. It was warm and had to walk up 4 flights of stairs

Friendly staff, went above and beyond ! Gave us wine to celebrate our honeymoon, had coffee ready for us upon our early checkout. Welcome tea, good breakfast included. Fan provided in room, felt very private. Coffee machine and some pods present in our room. Close to everything, walkable. Bed and pillows in room were not very comfortable.

Lots of stairs, but that can't really be helped

Clean I was not aware that the dorm rooms were coed, and this did create some issues with two gentlemen in the room who took over the way the Roulis run and organized. The stairs are a challenge, but the staff are gracious about bringing baggage up and down.

Staff extremely accommodating. Centralized location.They have great activities to choose from. Great value overall. 10 flights of stairs twice a day; however, it wasn’t that bad.

Sometimes, there was no hot water in the shower. Many stairs, in case someone does not like climbing )

Just a remark - if you have luggage - the reception is on level 4 - no elevator. Please be ready for many steps.
