The kitchen facilities and the patio were really nice! The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. The location was a bit further walking distance than we originally expected it to be, and some of the areas that we walked through to get to the place were a little bit sketchy in the evenings.

There is no lift on the place which can be a struggle if you are carrying big luggage.

Andreia and her staff were super nice and friendly, and the shared kitchen and terraces made it easy to meet people. I really liked that they let us store luggage for free in their reception area; that made it very convenient. In terms of a/c, the rooms had terrific air conditioning, though it's worth noting that the hallways and kitchen did not. The mandatory light over the door inside of the room was very strange; nobody could turn theirs off. It was a strange feature, as it made it seem like we had to use a night light. In addition, there is no elevator here, so you will have to bring your suitcase up quite a lot of steep, narrow steps when you check in.

The room was comfy, clean and cozy. The shared areas like the balcony and the rooftop terrace was a dream! I have seen a great sunset while I was there :) I had mixed feelings: it felt like a hotel room but also with the vibes of a hostel -- you could get in contact with other travelers very easy if you want to :) Nothing to complain, it was great :)

The decor is very charming and there’s several outdoor spaces to relax. The stairs!!! Some of them are very small and at weird angles. It would be nice to be able to request lower floors. Had heavy luggage with me.

I booked a room with a private bathroom. The room was nice and clean, with all the facilities I needed for a couple of days. The staff were really kind and friendly. The check-in process was easy, and the instructions were clear. The location was okay too—not too close and not too far from the city center. I really liked that there is a little terrace where you can relax. There is also a common kitchen (which I did not use), but I utilized the space on my departure day to stay for a bit and charge my phone. Additionally, there is a bathroom where you can freshen up before leaving. Nothing that mattered to me.

The Poet's Inn is charming, room spotless, clean modern design, bed super comfortable, bathroom ample size. Windows looked into internal atrium, not great view, but plenty of light and morning bird sounds :) Appreciated the shared kitchen with indoor and outdoor seating; wasn't warm enough to enjoy upstairs terrace, but nice option for another time. Soundproofing fairly good (most noise came from guests using kitchen or going up/down stairs). Overall very good value for room with private bath. None of these are dealbreakers, but: Building a bit of a maze, stairs a bit precarious with luggage, as are the hinky mini-steps from reception down and up to kitchen. Not super convenient to metro – requires transfer from airport/train line and a 10-ish minute cobblestone walk (murder on wheeled luggage). Would have appreciated getting the email with front door code earlier (I was lucky receptionist there when I arrived, as I hadn't been able to log on the 24 hours before, and didn't have local phone service; had no one answered the doorbell, I would have been locked out. Otoh, appreciated having a key card for the room, rather than yet another code to try to remember).

The room was very small and there were no windows on room 13. And if u have suitcases , there’s no elevator to go upstairs

The floor is squicky, doors were to loud when you closed them and people are just banging it.

Very clean, cozy, comfortable bathroom a little small and next to the stairs, so heard everyone walking by, room size was OK for me, but for more than one, could be cramped.

Hostel is not located in touristic area but it is very close to center with many options of public transport on feet distance. Neighbour also have many nice choices for food and drink. Hostel is clean ,and stuff polite and helpful. We did not make use of shared areas,so we do not have opinion of them. Very easy check in/out Hostel has no elevator,as many buildings in Lisbon, but i think it is good to have clear floor details for customers when they book a room. We stayed at 3rd floor,over 60 stairs ,which was not very easy especially if you facing any even small problem with injury. Also room (with private bathroom) had not a minimum shampoo for the first day. Not even a hairdryer which i think is very basic.
