Excellent location for what I needed, (I was attending a meeting nearby). with easy access to the railway station Price for one night was brilliant. Would book again for a single night on business, but not longer. It needs a lot of love. Slightly run down, frayed around the edges. Plumbing extremely noisy, bed not so comfortable, tired decor, bed uncomfortable and bedding not so comfortable. Staff seemed indifferent.

Staff was wonderful. Location is good. Hotel does not have air conditioning so was a little hot due to the unusually high temps.

Clean rooms comfy bed and great location

Where do I begin we walked into the room there are stains on the carpet floor. The room was freezing with only one little heater that barely worked. We had no toilet roll but to top it all off we couldn't even shower. No water was coming out & when it eventually did it was cold. I would not recommend staying here at all stay clear you can get better hotels for your money.
-
Nothing. Unfortunately the accommodation was disgusting - the room wasn't clean and there were was dirt and hair through the bed.
-
No Bar facilities. No breakfast facilities and hotel in general state of disrepair.... Carpets were stained in room. Thought we should have made aware of same at booking and for price we paid would have expected a better option.

Contemplated a drunken first ever night in cells just to avoid this place, thankfully we were able to obtain a refund. Please do not stay here if you’re a female, especially if you plan on a night around the town. Somehow managed to leave without being drugged or trafficked and stayed at an immaculate SAFE hotel round the corner instead for £20 more. The other residents (not customers!) there is actually people living there who seem to either be refugees or recovering from addiction. They glare at you like you’re a piece of meat. I’ve never felt so uneasy in my life. The place was also dirty. I actually blew thick dust off of the light above the bed. Bin was mouldy. Bathroom was nasty. Huge crack in the roof. Floor delved in. Duvets as thick as a blanket. Faulty towers came to mind. And those bed Mattresses? I’ve experienced thicker sanitary mattresses put it that way. This place is shameful and it needs to be removed off of booking.com. It also doesn’t look like this on the outside! It’s just bad, bad news. If I knew then what I knew now, I wouldn’t have booked it. I can accept a cheap rough place to get my head down after a night out but this place just took the biscuit. We couldn’t do it to ourselves. Please, it needs to close down as a hotel. Sold a dream but delivered a nightmare. Tragic

Was due to check in between 15.00-16.00. Received phone call at 15.45 to say we had to move hotels due to a water leak. Sent to another hotel where we were asked to pay again when we had already paid. After 2 phone calls the reception at the new hotel sorted it . Apparently this had happened to other customers earlier the same week .

Didn’t stay in property due to issues with water. Didn’t stay in property due to issues with water. I was expected to go there to pay for my accommodation and then have to walk to another hotel for my stay. There was NO offer of a taxi when I asked.

The staff were lovely. Great location The hotel was shabby. Only one mug in our room, no kettle! No hairdryer. No window, only a skylight but no blind for that. Poor Wi-Fi. Lift didn’t work. Devoid of any luxury or home comforts. A very basic hotel. Feels like a derelict hotel, that had just opened its doors.
