I only liked there my breakfast experience. I stay there because of great location between the train station on one side and ferry terminal on the other side, in-between is city centre The room was not properly serviced i.e. bar stocked room but no wine glasses, telephone was there but not working. I had to get in touch with the reception via calling from mu mobile. The mattress was not firm and the main reason for staying was as I had a consultation with orthopaedic for my spine stenosis. Some towels missing. Overall I did not had a good sleep. Restaurant service was just ok. I ordered bottle of white wine. It was not cold and place on my table without ice bucket. I had to request for it. I ordered food and the garlic balls were stodgy from inside although I requested them to make sure they are cooked well from inside. I complained and they didn't charge. The overall service in the restaurant was good

Room was available early which was great for us. Snacks and drinks in the room. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Cleaner was in the room when we returned from breakfast, meaning we had to wait until she'd finished before we could get in our room to get ready to go out for the day. Just felt far too early.

All the staff were really friendly & welcoming. The hotel is well located by the docks. The room was lovely, comfy bed & quiet seem as though you are in the city. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. Nothing apart from the smoking area at the front could have benefited from some cover, as all the seats were wet after a light shower.

The location was perfect The view from our window was a fire escape staircase but this can’t be helped

Great location, lovely staff, fab sized premium twin, lovely decor, convenient discounted parking around the corner. Despite arriving for breakfast at 9.45 (it closes at 10.30), there were no croissants, pain au chocolats or mushrooms left. Staff were apologetic but it felt a bit early to be running out. The other breakfast items were good quality though.

It was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The staff were very helpful, and the food was really good.This was great for our location, close to all amenities, docks, the city center and night life. There's soooo much to see and do that we intend to go back to explore more of the beautiful city. There was nothing we didn't like. The hotel was clean, the staff were really friendly. They even booked us a taxi to get to a gig in Sefton park.
