Urban Pod Hotel Liverpool

Very easy to check in, room was clean and spacious, shower was good, quiet at night. Very enjoyable stay!

Modern, clean and lovely. Good facilities in the room, kettle, iron,. Hair dryer, smart tv. Location is out of the busy areas but just a little walk. Was great location to access centre, docks and the comedy club which we were there for. Whole building has scaffolding on apart from The door and work was being done which was quite loud early in the morning and made it hard to find as it was just a small door with a small laminated sign but I under this is only temporary and won’t be an issue since work is completed. So no issues apart from this!

Very helpful man called Geoff, had a problem locking door. But place was very secure. He came straight over to fix. (Needed new battery i think ) was directed to car park 4.00 for 24hrs Only negative there was a strange smell coming from the shower, but could be due to building work. Would definitely stay again. Never asked about car park until we had parked at q park 3.30 for 5mins

Excellent facilities in the room, very clean, reasonable price compared to others in the area and complimentary items were a lovely touch . Thank you Not the easiest find as while of outside was covered in scaffolding and one entrance door tucked away with small signage on side wall only.

Rooms are quite big It is not a real hotel, it is several rooms in a basement, with no one in charge. I was a disturbing place. I had an urgency and I needed to contact them and they didn't even answered my messages, a bit scary. Not in booking or the phone number provided. I also had problems to enter in the place and no one helped me with that either. Really bad experience.

Location was great and the amenities were an added bonus! Some snacks and juices in the reception area were a nice touch. Bedroom door was tough to close and mattress wasn’t the best.

We met the cleaner when we arrived, she was very helpful and advised to come back when the room was ready in 2hrs We had to leave the hotel after the first night and get alternative accommodation due to sewage in the hotel, live wires sticking out of light fitting and bathroom rad, the outside is a building site at the minute with hammer drills from 8am (builders meet and chat from 7:30) The front door doesn't lock so anyone can access the pods... we were advised it's a dodgy area by a local although had no problems fortunately Tried contacting the numbers provided, can't get assistance from anyone Booking.com refuse to acknowledge complaint The place looks really nice, is super clean, but shouldn't be open to the public as not ready yet

The location was good and the decor of the lobby and room was good in general with a couple of exceptions. I had requested a twin room which had been confirmed, but it was set up as a double. The corner of one of the fitted sheets was torn. There were screws sticking out of the wall where something had been removed. There was an unpleasant 'drain' smell in the room when we arrived, which came and went. There was scaffolding outside when we arrived and the works began at 7.30 in the morning. The site cabin was right outside our window. It was low noise at first but was loud by 8.30. We had booked for 2 nights and at that point decided we weren't going to stay there and informed the owner. We paid for a room in another hotel instead. Perhaps we were unlucky as the place looked very nice and well kitted out generally, but it wasn't suitable.

Not too far from the centre and main train station The 3rd bed wasn’t brilliant and sloped down on one side. Grit and dust round the window and desk unit but to be fair the building was surrounded by scaffolding and they were doing repairs to the outer wall so believe this was the cause. A tiny cold unit held 4 small bottles of water so would have liked it to be a bit bigger given it was a very hot weekend
