Staff really freindly, decent size car park & bed quite comfortable.cleaning staff amazing! Room really dated & walls could definitely do with a lick of paint.Bathroom vanity was from 1970s.Bar prices were London prices £7.45 for pint & service charge applied on food that wasn’t apparent till after you had paid.staff really friendly

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, close to Shopping centre and close to rail links to Edinburgh. Room was a bit dated and the shower was not adjustable so water flooded all over the floor.

Good location Friendly staff Clean room with amenities Nice restaurant and a good breakfast offering. It's very dated looking and needs a freshen up. On immediately entering our room (212) there was a strong smell of damp and noticed a patch on ceiling where it was obvious of a previous leak. A wee bit of tlc is needed.

All The staff from the reception to the bar were great. Friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great location (we were there for a gig in edinburgh) and was much cheaper than the city centre, good value fir money. Hard to pick any faults but what i would say was that some of the wardrobes, tables and doors looked quite old and could do with a refresh but in all honesty the hotel was overall good.

The front of house staff., so friendly, so helpful throughout our stay. The room was shockingly ran down and badly needed painting and refreshing. Outside the premises was filthy.

The staf were absolutely excellent The cleanliness of the room was terrible, we had to ask the staff to come and clean the room and even she stated that it had not been cleaned properly! And the fish at dinner was defiantly not as claim as being Cod, I know my Cod fish and that was NOT Cod!! I didn’t like I’ve the fact that when asked the waiter what fish was in the fish and chips and he said I’ve been told it was Cod, which it was not!!

Food was good and staff pleasant Bathroom had a shower head but could not be used as a shower, reported to receptionist said they would report to maintenance and get fixed, did not. Also dinner on first night was so slow had to wait and hour for dinner, said they were short staffed, everyone was complaining, food was good but the wait was terrible
