Miraolas

This hotel cannot be 3 stars, it can be at most 2 stars. The room is too simple, there is no aircondition. When we opened the window to get some air in this heat, all the mosquitos entered the room. There is not even a platform to put your luggage. Also the location of the hotel is away from the center.

The room had outside metal blinds. Since there is no AC, you have to open the windows, but you don’t get any air if you want to sleep in the dark and have the metal blinds down. The area seemed a bit sketchy at night

We had a triple room which was spacious and clean. The hotel's location is good, and we were able to find street parking. If you have to park in the garage, they charge an outrageous €20 per day. Those are big city prices, surprising to see it so expensive in a small town. Staff were friendly and professional. The internet was decent, only dropping out a couple of times during our two-night stay. That is pretty good for Spain. The hotel we were told hosts a large group of American teenagers every late June through July. Be warned. They are loud, slam doors, and destroy any peace and serenity you may be looking for. Also, I know we booked a cheaper room but instead of Miraolas we were more like Miranada. We had no view from our odd room. I say odd because it looks like it was supposed to be two rooms, but they left it as one. It had two bathrooms, but the shower only worked in one. The room was spartan, charmless, and of poor quality. If we are ever back in Llanes, especially at that time of the year, we will certainly stay elsewhere.

A lot of light at night

Great location

Close to the Camino del Norte and to everything: grocery, restaurants, pharmacy. Clean and comfortable. 24 hour reception: easy to check in on arrival from walking and quite a relaxing place.

The view was amazing. And the location was perfect. I would encourage some blackout curtains as the street lights do bring light in at night.

I had stayed at this property a year earlier and totally enjoyed it. I love the location and both time our room has had two bathrooms which is an added bonus at no extra cost. Llanes is a really interesting place and well worth a visit. Nothing to add.

My second visit and it is situated next to the harbour, within easy walking distance of the centre. Lovely view from the hotel and helpful staff.

I wanted to get a coffee from the bar and it was "closed" in the afternoon which was a bit disappointing. A big hotel like this I think could manage to have staffing levels to allow coffee to be bought all day. A small thing but was a bit frustrating.
