Ascot Hyde Park Hotel

Other than being a little dated, everything was fine.

Very good location, close to underground and buses. Nice view on the street, The room was with balcony and the flowers on the balcony , very nice. The bathroom was spacious and easy to use (which is not always the case in England) There was a housekeeper service everyday,even on Sunday. The towels were changed everyday .Although overlooking the street it was very quiet. The lift didn't work but it must have been temporary ,I believe. The room was nice but rather small. It could be just a little bit bigger so it would be more comfortable.

Good location Elevator didn’t work and no AC

Beds were comfortable and linen clean Elevator broken.carpets very worn and didn’t look like they’d been vacuumed in a while. No air conditioning.

Elevator NOT WORKING. It has 5 floors… but since this is in Europe… it means 6 floors. I was on the top floor.

Location in central London in excellent for walking, trains, underground and taxis Property not clean, rooms not cleaned every day and staff seem to think it is ok to say ‘fuck you’ when you challenge room has not been cleaned or towels changed

The location, it was very close to Paddington Station. Not much! The lift was broken, the French door windows wouldn’t close. The bathroom was down right dangerous. The tiles in the bathroom on the floor and in the shower were so slippery we had to put towels on the floors even in the shower to keep from falling. No air conditioning, no fans. I can’t believe booking.com, supports this hotel. It should be black listed!!!!

I loved the location. So easy to get easily everywhere. It is incredibly run down. Paint is coming from the walls, the TV is tiny and no propper channels. It was dirty behind the bed and i do not want to know when the carpet flooring was last cleaned properly. It needs an actual update soon. Also the lift was broken and you have to walk up 7 flights of stairs to get to the 3rd floor.

But staff very friendly, incredible!

Location is superb to get around London Property is dated, some areas are not clean and some of the rooms are so tight there is almost nowhere to walk around the bed etc. I have been in a few room and some of the rooms are spacious which makes the stay so much better

The hotel lift is currently malfunctioning. Consequently, I have resorted to manually transporting my luggage to the third floor, which is an excessive distance to cover.

Location was good Rooms are tiny - It is difficult to explain how small the rooms are and with the bed there may only be 6 to 9 inches between the bed and the wall in every direction

The lift wasn’t working quite difficult to climb the stairs with luggage.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel in London. The location was absolutely perfect—very convenient and close to everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was lovely, and everything was well-organised. I had a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in London. Lift was too slow

The location is great for Paddington train station On arrival my partner from Thailand had 2 heavy cases put floor5 so jumped in lift out of service ( second stay lift out of service again) there won't be a third stay rooms basic and clean travel light ideal if you have cases try somewhere else there lots and lots of hotels in the area of Paddington station.
