Amazing view, closer to city and fantastic customer service

Room was addiquit for what we wanted . The staff were very helpful with our medical emergance and we thank them for their concern and help. The cracks on most walls,tify lift.

For my needs the location was great. The room was spacious enough and clean. Staff were great. Being a senior adult the stairs are dangerously narrow and steep. The elevator is old and cramped but I guess that is a norm for these boutique hotels.

The location was good and close to the city centre The room was very small not suitable for 3 people and one of the staff was very rude

Nice lobby, decent location to get around London, friendly staff, lots of toiletries. No air conditioning, we had a basement room so we had zero airflow. We left early to sit at the airport because it was so hot and humid. Walls were literally covered in dirt and we saw silverfish. We were only there for about 8 hours to halfway sleep.

Close to tube station, very friendly staff and decent sized rooms. We were staying after a gig at Brixton academy and for the money this was perfect Slightly dated but it wasn’t much of an issue

Budget hotel close to everything. Clean well appointed rooms and bathroom. 24 hr reception. Window in our room was not able to be locked. In saying that, we did not feel unsafe at any time. Not a problem really, but unusually we had to hand our key in every time we left our room. Probably because people lose them.

The room was very clean, staff were excellent, very polite. The room had a TV, Tea & Coffee, a fan and had adequate power sockets. London is a busy place, and this hotel is close to Paddington and tube stations to move around. Nothing. It was a good stay,

We were planning a three day stay in London. Our usual big chain "budget" Inn wanted over £275 per night, so I booked a stay at The Haven which gave us the three nights for less than the cost of a single night elsewhere. It's basic and it's a bit tired, but it's clean and the beds are comfortable. What more do you want if you're on a budget. Just set your expectations appropriately and you won't be disappointed. We had a good time in London, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. We'd be happy to stay at The Haven again. Nothing to dislike. Just remember that you're going to a budget hotel and are probably getting three nights for the cost of one night elsewhere.

Excellent location only a few minutes walk from Paddington Station and a multitude of local food outlets Helpful, pleasant receptionist. Very clean, basic room with a slightly worn feel, but that only adds to the character. For the cost, location, service and standard of the room, I couldn't fault it. My only problem was the metal frame bed which creaked every time I moved. And I move a lot. I'm a light sleeper who fixates on annoying noises, so it took me quite a while to doze off. I slept as well as I tend to do in any unfamilar place, so I shouldn't really flag this as a negative given everything else was a positive.
