Well equipped room, clean and modern, great bar, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful location and very good value Room a bit small but it’s central London and all the positives massively outweighed this small criticism.

The hotel is in a brilliant location at the corner of Hyde Park/Kensington Palace and close to the shops and bars of Kensington. We had some amazing meals in pubs and restaurants nearby, and although you are absolutely paying London prices, we felt it was worth it for the location. It's an understatement to say that this hotel is quirky; the decor is wild and packed with personality. So much better than staying in a boring, shoe-box hotel room. In the middle of another heatwave, we were grateful for the super air-con in the room and the fridge to keep our drinks in. The staff were friendly and welcoming - we had a brilliant stay! Warning - the lift is not for those of a nervous disposition, and it only works from the first floor. This may present significant difficulty for those with disabilities. If you can manage the stairs, you will enjoy the journey as there is something to see at every turn!

It had a great vibe, great proximity to V&A museum, wonderful park walking and food close by. All in all, Loved the spot. Very small room and awkwardly situated.

Great staff and a great location. The room was small but had enough space for a solo traveler. The only downside was that there was no refrigerator in the room, which could be an issue for longer stays. Overall, I had a pleasant stay!

The unique decor and the staff - they were so welcoming and accommodating to us. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and it was very clean. The size of the room was very small for the price charged, it was difficult to move around luggage and eachother to get ready, the photos made the rooms look much larger.

Excellent staff. Very comfortable stay. Very much enjoyed the cocktail bar and free second round of drinks. Loved the penhaligons products provided. Great location. Rooms slightly smaller than imagined

Well located, can leave bags at hotel before and after check in/out if doing some shopping before leaving London. Amazing staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The room also had AC which was super handy during the heatwave during our stay. Its about a 10/15 mins walk from nearest tube, which wasn't a problem for us (and there are buses) but might be for others so something to keep in mind.

Great location Nice ambience Our room was very small Noisy sound every 20 mins all night from aircon or fridge/lift that we could not turn off Added a service charge which is cheeky even if it was removed. We arrived at 4pm so quite early but I felt we were given the smallest and noisiest room. I should have asked for a change but we were short of time.

The hotel is in such a great location for what we wanted. All staff were lovely. Decor is amazing. Our room was a little smaller than expected but we had aircon which helped enormously with the heat wave! Coffee was good. Loved it!
