Very friendly staff on the reception and lovely room. Despite there being a fan in the room, it would have been much better with air conditioning.

Location and size of room. Staff were great! Nothing!!

I liked everything about this hotel and would stay there again. The staff were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. It was my 50th and they put up a sign in the room and some balloons which was a very thoughtful gesture. It was perfect for myself and my daughter - we could walk to the nearest tube stop and felt very safe. The area was great - so close to the Tate, the Borough Market, the South Bank, etc. Beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, breakfast was lovely - we were happy with everything.

The hotel has to be the most friendly hotel I have ever stayed. Everyone from the guys in the front desk, to the bar staff to the waitresses at breakfast went above and beyond, and made it feel as if they genuinely cared they’d were all exceptional Nothing

The breakfast was fantastic. I waited for 40 min at the reception desk until finally someone showed up. The receptionist seemed to be in a bit of a confused state, it was strange. No 24h reception, only until 23.00h. No air conditioning.

Location was perfect for our needs. Hotel was clean and well maintained (our bathroom door was squeaking like crazy at the beginning, so I used a butter (from our breakfast) to fix the issue. :) The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great: a lot of choices and very tasty. My favorite choice was a sandwich with smoked salmon, avocado and pouched egg. I also really like provided water, coffee and milk along with a kettle and coffee machine. Nothing big to complaint. Beds were very comfortable but very tiny. And, I wish to have AC in a room: we were literally melting when temperature outdoor hit +35*C.

Excellent location for taking walks around London! The Mad Hatter theme runs throughout the hotel and pub, making it an interesting and characterful stay. The people were all nice and helpful and liked a chat. The room was large and had everything we needed (except air-con). It was extremely hot while we were there as London had heatwaves so we really wished there was air-conditioning in the hotel. The staff did give us extra fans and water bottles which really helped. The lift wasn’t working properly and we had to be rescued by hotel staff, so we mostly used the stairs.

The staff make this hotel. From once you step through the door, they are welcoming, helpful and happy to see you. All young people enjoying their work and making sure that you have a wonderful time. That my stay was so short, only three days, I regret not having a week but had to return to work.

Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Needs some updates, windows for better airflow as no air conditioning. Washroom facilities need improvements.
-
Location & the staff Breakfast & meal well priced for London & delicious Very comfortable bed No air conditioning for hot weather but effective fan was provided

The location was great. Close to the underground tube and walking distance to many points of interest. Delicious breakfast included. Quite warm in the rooms because no air-conditioning but we thought ahead and brought small tableside fans to help cool the room in addition to a large fan they provided.

Awesome staff. Great atmosphere. The room was a bit stuffy. The windows couldn’t be fully opened.
-
Excellent location and excellent breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Shower had great pressure. There was no air conditioning but they did provide sheets rather than duvets on request and had a fan in the room.

We loved the location. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and there was a nice choice of different options. The room was a little dated and overlooked a rubble/building site. There was also no air con and so the room was uncomfortably hot. We was supplied with a fan that helped a little. But this did spoil our stay a bit.
