Great location - hotel staff were very helpful and the room was clean Our room was like an oven - the window could not open more than 10cm so there was no ventilation and of course there was no air con.

The staff was super helpful as well as kind, and the place is clean and comfortable. Very convenient for traveling back to Heathrow with luggage since so close to Paddington. The medium room is rather small... and it was a little too hot during the heat wave.

Location is the best and very convenient if you are coming from Heathrow. Bed, bedding and towels are great. Nice coffee shop in the entrance and you can easily replenish your waterbottles. Room was clean and tidy. The rooms are quite small and ventilation is not the best. It was very noisy on the street and people were arguing and screaming so if you are light sleeper it might be a problem. They provide earplugs so I presume it is quite common. We arrived a couple of hours prior check in and returned to the hotel at 3pm for our room. Instead of having everything prepared we were told we had to wait another 15 min which we made clear was not what we expected. It got sorted out quickly but still worth mentioning.

We chose the Pilgrm since it was so close to Paddington station. Also, the young woman checking us in was so helpful and pleasant; and the young man getting us ice as we were checking out was very kind and friendly. Only having a fan and the window as means of air circulation wasn’t optimal, in our opinion.

Didn’t take breakfast as I wanted to explore cafes in the area. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Size of room. Awkward to shave. Woken up by staff hoovering next door room at 8.30am.
