the staff were the highlight of the stay for sure! they were all so nice and welcoming. i stayed for one night only and the room was fine for what i needed. blackout curtains were a big plus! i booked an all female dorm, but got put in a mixed one. i didn’t bother to contact the front desk because i was staying for such a short time and barely even used the room, but i was still disappointed that after confirming with them over messages (pictures attached) i still got put in a mixed dorm. as a female solo traveler i didn’t really feel comfortable with that.

Clean and comfortable It would be great to have more options for European socket adapters or USB-C ports in the rooms

The hostel is extremely quiet and peaceful. The rooms are spacious and have large, private bathrooms. There are curtains on both the bed and the windows, and the bed is quite comfortable. Access to the various areas and the room is very easy with the electronic keycard. The common areas are very cozy. The fan in front of the bed had a lot of dust accumulated inside, and since I'm allergic to dust mites, I couldn't turn it on. You can often hear the sound of trains passing over the bridge very close to the hostel. The Wi-Fi didn't work in my room, and I had to stand in the hallway or at reception to use it.

Central location, spacious room to share with others There was no airconditioning and it was 25+ degrees everyday. It was too hot to sleep comfortably.

I especially loved the separate, extremely clean bathrooms and showers at this property. The beds with privacy curtains were also a great feature. The staff was extremely kind and very patient, even with those who don't know the language—very good. The pub downstairs is great for interacting and socializing. This is my second time at this hostel, and I have always found very friendly and kind people, both among the staff and other guests staying here. Great location, very close to Tower Hill and Aldgate East. I also really liked seeing families and older adults enjoying these services. The only downside is the 7-night monthly stay limit, though I believe this is common for most London hostels.
