Clean, safe. Good value for money

Location is good near the train station, restaurants and stores.. No air condition in the rooms. Also no lift to use to get to the room.

Location was good with easy access around downtown Surbiton services. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi was very intermittent. Access to rooms is a consideration if you have any mobility issues. Booking said breakfast was included which was not true as there wasn't any cooking facilities on-site. Access in off-hours when pub is closed is difficult for an elderly person as you have to navigate through the back door and gardens, which can be a bit of a struggle.

The room was spacious and the shower was nice and fully enclosed. I particularly enjoyed the free access to the hot cocoa machine downstairs.. Many of the power sockets didn't work, nor did the floor fan they provided. I was able to drown out the noise from the pub downstairs with white noise. I had to close the windows at night to cut the sound of the cars on the road.

Great room; met all my needs- clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect. I really enjoyed exploring Surbiton- you can really tell how community oriented it is; what a lovely place!

Staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help out.

Room was cancelled/had a problem with just a few hours before the stay. Had to book elsewhere.

Good value, comfortable room in a great location in central Surbiton.

The price was good. The place was clean. Good base for two nights. Joanne was lovely (bar staff) who helped us to our room. It’s a bit decrepit inside and needs some TLC, repairs and a lick of paint. It’s hard work getting up and down the millions of stairs and also a bit difficult getting in and out when the pub is closed. Rough around the edges. Tried to move us after a confusion with rooms but didn’t allow it. The pub below is LOUD. There was a pub quiz on a Tuesday night until late. Bring soundproof headphones or earplugs.

Basic but clean

Great place to stay, good location in Surbiton, not far from the train station? all bars and restaurants. Accommodation was clean tidy with all facilities you need including tea, coffee shower gel, etc. have already booked to stay here again, twice. Staff friendly Just a small issue trying to enter the property late at night because you have to use a key code, which is Roman numerals.

Friendly, efficient service

Good location lots off shops. restaurants.and bars to eat and drink. Surbiton train station 5 minutes walk away. Got a weatherspoons across the road to train station. The room looked nothing like the photos on booking .com.it was very small no where to put toiletries in bathroom.when you flushed the toilet and turned the taps on the noise off the pipes was really loud also when other guest used the toilet and turned the taps on it made the same noise.and on a Friday and Saturday there's live music on till after 11.00pm so didn't get much sleep.wont be staying here again.
