Sino Hotel

Do NOT book with them. I missed a call due to being on the plane and having no service (!!!) and they just went ahead and cancelled my WHOLE STAY. Didn't give a reason, repeatedly stated it was their fault and I'll get a refund - only to then turn around, hours later, to claim they cancelled my stay due to my payment not having been processed. Mind you, I booked with them in December 2024. The money was taken from my bank account IN DECEMBER 2024. I send them statements and confirmations of said payment while also (!!!) telling them that the stay on booking.com was still very much stated as 'Confirmed'. Never heard back. What DID however happen was this: I woke up to a message on booking.com saying THE HOTEL CANCELLED MY STAY DUE TO NO SHOW WITH POSSIBLE NO SHOW FEES ARISING. Are you kidding me? Got on the phone with the property AGAIN, they stated time and time again it was due to 'no show'. Good thing I got sent a cancellation and refund statement FROM THE PROPERTY the day before after asking for written confirmation. Forwarded that. Haven't heard back in 24hrs. And booking.com? They don't help me either. Tried their customer service with no luck. I really just want my money back after being left stranded without a valid reason. Sounds like overbooking and getting rid of the first person who doesn't immediately take their call to then claim different reasons after hours of interacting and trying to resolve this issue!!!

The location is very good! Very close to major subway station and around there are many cafes and restaurants. The outside of the location does not look like in the pictures, there is no hotel sign so it was hard to find. Furthermore, there is self check-in but we did not receive any information for check in. At 5pm on the check-in day I had to call the accomodation and was told to send a picture of my ID to an email address and then I received the passcode for check-in. It would be helpful to send those requirements and information at least a day prior to check-in so people don't have to call stressed and wait outside.

Bit of a delay booking in due being new owners. Overall room and location were ideal for what we wanted. Host were pleasant.

The water in the shower always came out hot, you can't put the water on cold, they sent me to the top floor, I kept hitting the ceiling, and the TV was very simple and small, it's not Smart, they never cleaned my room the room

The location was good After I received a phone call from the hotel management saying they had to move us to another room as they were renovating I was promised to have a room with 2 double beds for me my Mrs and our daughter. When we arrived they had put us back into the original room with single beds instead of a double.

I found the room in good state. Same for the bed and pillows. I found a small bottle of water and a water boiler (which I did not use). The toilet worked. I found several small bottles of shampoo and body wash. Warm water worked. The price was fair. I met an employee and he was kind and professional. The shower drain could use some work: the water would not get drained fast enough. I found that unusual, but I could still use the shower as needed. The water would be drained after some minutes. The door lock did not feel very secure: it takes a 4-digit pin code to open a door, without any card. I found it acceptable for a short stay, with no valuable items in the bags. I recommend a small instructions sticker to help opening/closing the window in the room.
