Location was great. Very clean. The breakfast yogurt pots were delicious! The £16pp breakfast was disappointing for the price. We paid for 3 as my son joined us for breakfast. The hot food was cold, the sausages were anemic and the omelets looked like they had been made in a microwave and were bland.

No everyday free cleaning services; old facilities

The location was excellent, The room was spacious and had a mini ktichenette which was useful, although we didn't have time to use it. Would definitely stay here again. The airconditioning vent is directly oppposite the bed and was hitting us all night. We stayed in London during the heatwave and turning it off wasn't an option

I booked the Citadines Barbican for 3 nights as I was going to a concert at the Barbican Hall and it was only a few minutes walk away. Felt very comfortable there and the staff were all very friendly. Nothing

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was quiet, safe and convenient. The staff were great. The air conditioning worked well, there was a small refrigerator and teapot in the room. There was free coffee and tea, a small gym and two sets of paid washers and dryers in the basement. I enjoyed my stay! The only complaint I have is some of the room doors slammed shut, not sure if it was the fault of the people closing them or if the self closing doors need to be adjusted. If problem is fixed, I would give a rating of 10!

Good location for our purposes, nice enough room. Uninformed juvenile staff. We asked for a recommendation for a good pub to get a good burger, they said (both of them, a pretty black girl and another possibly Eastern-European accented girl with blue-blonde hair) "Your best bet is to order from Popeye's...or McDonalds"... then they started to mock-argue: McDonald's or Popeye's. I said, forget it. How about just a good local pub? They said that there weren't any nearby, and our best bet was to go to Farringdon Station, that we might be able to find a pub from there. We did: both Sutton Arms and The Slaughtered Lamb, great pubs, both LESS THAN A BLOCK from the Citadines. These girls were idiots. In addition: low water pressure, no ice machines.

Nice studio room, good kitchen and other facilities, great view of the city (7th floor), very little street noise, loved the old London map on the bathroom floor, all very clean and smart. Great location for the Barbican and area around it. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was fine. Although the double bed was very comfortable it was (very) small, which surprised us given the rating and deluxe studio. A wider one could have fitted the space. The other thing to note is that the air-conditioning unit buttons didn't work (except switching it on and off). The blue light from the A/C control unit was far too bright at night and made the room too light.

    all was fine

The room was very small, some practical things were missing like plugs in the kitchenette, space too cook, a bediside table. I would have imagined the studio to be a bit more spacious for the price.

Location!!! Staff was wonderful, having the coffee station was such a great daily morning treat especially since we stayed 8 nights. We took fully use of gym and were grateful for the space and all tue equipment available. The 2 blue yoga mats really need replacement ? N/A

Great location, on main avenue, 2 mins away from tube station and many buses, and within walking distance from some cool spots - Barbican Centre, Spitafields Market, Old Street, St Pauls, etc. Room was quite big, with many and high quality amenities, and extras like ironing board, fridge, clothes and hair dryer and great internet too. Good value for money and would stay again, especially as the staff was very friendly and helpful with extra requests - asked to change rooms to be away from lift and also to keep my luggage on check out day. There isnt cleaning servuce offered during the stay - I understand that its an aparthotel but considering the cost and star rating of the hotel, I expected that there would be this service, even if only upon request. Gym was quite small and in need of maintenaince too.

Nothing So we booked the same day as staying based on including breakfast (at the restaurant that had good reviews). On arrival we were told the restaurant had gone into administration. We were still expected to pay full price for the stay. Additionally our room was a double, but really only suitable for one person. It had mismatched furniture, only one chair, and no room for luggage store so had to leave bags out. Without catering facilities we had to find cafes, which there are not a great selection close by (Prets or an English Greasy spoon on the council estate being the best options). I asked about cutlery to eat and was said that I could upgrade our room to have a kitchen. This was a bit of an insult given the reason we were having to sort food was that the hotel no longer had facilities. The room overall was also not in a great state of repair. We found it upsetting given for the same price we could have stayed elsewhere with full facilities, and would have done if we had been told on booking there was no catering. On check-out the hotel arranged a refund on the breakfast, but made no consideration for the inconvenience and impact on our holiday. Overall very depressing experience for the start of new year in London.

Friendly staff and very comfortable room. Bed was good and room very clean. Loved the extra towels, and other sundries available 24 hrs. The bakery off the lobby was wonderful too! Great security. The reservation did not mention an extra 15 a day charge to keep our cat in the room until we checked in. Not a problem but wish the info had been transparent upon reserving room.

The mattress was very firm, and for me that was uncomfortable.
