staff was nice and location was perfect. Safe and close to paddington station Not very clean, there was hair and other residue in the shower. Injured myself in the shower because it’s so small in the bathroom. No air conditioning, but they did provide fans. Beds were not secure so they kept moving when you want to sit up. Best to ask for a lower level room if you have luggage.

Excellent location as it’s close to Paddington station and Kensington Gardens with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Good value for the location and basic amenities. My room was on the 4th floor which took very twisted and unsafe stairs to get up to- this was difficult to navigate with a 20kilo suitcase. I wish I’d known that I was going to have to haul it up so many stairs to the top floor during the heat wave. The fan that was in the room initially didn’t work but the front desk person was able to get me another one. There was no phone in the room and I didn’t have calling included in my travel eSIM so i had to go all the way down to reception to ask a simple question which was exhausting. There was luggage storage but it was in the basement which didn’t have a door or a lock so it was accessible by anyone off the street which made me nervous about leaving my bag considering how many times I saw the front desk unattended.

The bed was uncomfortable and there are bed bugs. I didn’t see them until days into my stay and by then I was bitten all over.

Location to Paddington station Everything
-
Location is a short from Paddington station 4th floor without a lift, a room literally smaller than my walk in closet at home no AC, and low water pressure. The bath/ shower is comically small
-
Only Location was best 20 Meters from Paddington Station Alots of restaurants and different shops around the hotel . Room size was small but acceptable Shower area 50.cm × 50cm , i dropped my face wash but could not pick it up ?. If you lie down on bed sheet will come out from sides and when you will wake up will dirty mattress . I was given room on 4th floor stairs are very narrow and straight so it was too difficult . Room service is pathetic .

The swipe card access was the most complicated thing I've seen and really fickle. It took the staff member a couple of minutes to open my room door for me. The toilet was external to the room and I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to get back into my room. It took up to a minute of trying each time until it randomly opened.

You get what you pay for. It was a great place if you're looking for somewhere to sleep, shower and leave. The distance to the metro and train was perfect, and there are some good places to eat a short walk away. The room was unbelievably hot, even at night. There was a fan in the room, at least. I will say it wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't disgusting. You get what you pay for, so be realistic when you set your expectations.

Location For 3 people the room was very small.
-
Housekeeping staff were prone to not making sure that Your room door was tightly closed and locked. I found it open twice.
-
This is a very wrong choice. The room was located on 4th floor, technically 6th, no elevator, very narrow stairs, poor service, dirty rooms,
-
Toilet in lower floor.
-
Room very hot (in winter) and noisy Not very clean Very small bathroom
-
The location was the only good thing. Not as advertised. I’m disputing my credit card charge. One side of the room was about a foot higher than the other.
-
Three star hotel with... 1) toilet in some of closet on the stairs (!!!) 2) shower in a room, but w/o illumination 3) clean, but completely worn
-
this is a lovely little boarding house style of a place. Clean and the staff is friendly. But be advised, there is no elevator and lots of stairs. Also, the bathroom is down the hall.
-
Dated decor, small rooms, lots of stairs.
-
Staff was very friendly, room was a bit worn
-
Nice hotel in convenient location.

The room we had was very small, but I had read other reviews stating they were small. There was no lift and we were on the 4th floor, but again I knew that when booking. If you are staying for a short time it’s perfect for its location. The owner was very lovely!
