The only positive point about the hotel is that it is close to Paddington Station. When we arrived, the AC was blocked at 28degrees which made it impossible to sleep in the room. We had to switch rooms at midnight because maintenance couldn’t resolve the issue until the following day. Also, the TV didn’t work in BOTH rooms, there wasn’t even a remote. The shower in the second room was ridiculous, basically no water came out. It would have been impossible to wash your hair. On the last day, when we had checked out in the morning and got back in the afternoon to collect our luggage, I realised that I had forgotten my new hairclip in our room and asked if they had found it. The staff was utterly unwelcoming and didn’t do anything to help me except telling me that the room had been cleaned already and nothing had been found. However, I insisted that it must be there and asked if I could take a look or that it may have gotten tangled in the bedsheets when they removed them. The receptionist told me that both were impossible and that they couldn’t do anything about the situation. Luckily for me, it was only a hairclip but there was another girl at the reception who had forgotten an extremely valuable watch in the room and this watch had also disappeared from the room. This is what leads me to the suspicion that there may be some issues with the lost and found at this hotel. Our experience was extremely disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone. I have been to the hotel before when it was still managed by Sonder and I feel like the quality has gone down significantly since the change of management.

Clean and comfortable staff fry Rooms very small

The hotel was modern and clean and had a really nice and peaceful atmosphere which for the location was surprising. You can tell the hotel is new as someone of the layouts of the room where odd but they where easily changed.

Nice and central to the train station, easy to get around. Nice spot across from the park. Very small but comfortable enough. The key had been broken in the door from the previous visitors. We had to ask to be let into our room every single time and they didn’t seem concerned about getting it fixed. We had to explain why to what felt like a new person every time. They had a ‘cooler’ in the room and it may as well have been a cupboard. It wasn’t cold and when we asked about it they just said to use the fridge downstairs. Bed was pretty uncomfortable so if you’re after comfort I’d probably steer clear.

I was disappointed that I was not able to watch regular TV and had to settle for a streaming service. Not that I came to London to watch TV, but I am a news "junkie."

Nice rooms, great location, very kind staff The room was a little too small, especially the shower

The location was brilliant, near train station and bus stops. Near places to eat, plenty of local pubs. Opposite a lovely quiet garden. There were steps up to the main front door, be aware, but I’m sure the friendly helpful staff would help you with your bags. There was a small lift, enough for 2 people and small cases. Reception was good with seating area. Our room was adequate but we could have had more space around the bed. Small lift, used stairs most of the time

The room was ok. It's just that when you open the door to the toilet, there's smell like sewage but otherwise it's fine. I think they should have a bigger mug in the room as well.
