The hotel is very well located in central London, a very nice and safe area to explore, walking distance to Paddington station, The staff is very helpful, carrying bags to the top floor, in providing recommendations and storing bags before and after my stay. They are professional and friendly. Tea and coffee facilities in the lobby. Value for money, given the property's great location and services. Recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in London. Tiny room and no air conditioning. A lot of steep staircases, difficult to manage a big suitcase, but the staff is very helpful in carrying the bags to the top floor.

The hotel is quite well located. Close to public transportation, stores and many restaurants. The staff is friendly! It does not have a lift. Try to get o room on the basement.

Location. The gentleman who said he was 80 was very nice. I didn’t have much interaction with staff. All along these rows are many hotels that have the most uncomfortable beds that have worn out mattresses. Lots of steep stairs, which I knew about but FYI. When will I learn not to book this area more than a night? Also No kettle in room. Only in small lobby. I don’t book breakfasts so not sure if they had one or not.

I liked that the stuff is helpful and nice. We didn't expect anything less than what we got. Other peoples bad reviews. Of course there will be no elevator lol. When you book, just write that you are unable to climb the stairs.

Staff were very friendly. Close to Paddington Station.

Friendly welcome and good location. Bedroom was clean and tidy with plenty of towels. Complete with desk, chair and TV whether you're planning on working or relaxing in the room. Toilet seat wasn't fixed properly and my husband had to reattach it. We were also located on the 4th floor, which was a hike up the stairs as no lift. Fine for us, but one to be aware of. We had good weather, but having to walk a couple of doors down to the next hotel for breakfast is a little odd and cold in more wintery months!

Staff was friendly enough. The hotel is in a very good area - very close to Paddington Station. The room was very small which I expected but smaller than most NYC hotel rooms. There was very little room to get into the bed I usually just climbed in from the foot of the bed. The bathroom was extremely tiny and I am not a big guy. The sink was the smallest sink I have seen in a very long time. The room was in the basement. I did have a window but it looked out onto a staircase in the back of the building. Mattress was not great - soft and I am glad to not be sleeping on it tonight. Electrical switches did not always work. The bathroom light above the sink never came on. There was construction noise very early in the morning - 6 AM - next door I believe. You can hear the trains underground up to a certain time at night. There was no heat during the day. The heat did come on about 7 PM but was not on when I woke up.

The price was about spot on. The rooms were clean, and had a big fridge to use which was unexpected but very welcome. No kettle in the room, but one in reception that was permanently stocked with tea, coffee, cups, sugar and biscuits! So that was fine. The staff were friendly and there was a great room to leave luggage and pushchairs that was right next to reception so very safe. It could be noisy at night, which didn't really bother us. But, if you wanted a quieter room, ask for one towards the back of the property as we were right on the road side.

Litsa, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms in a desirable location. Excellent value Spartan, some would say dated, hotel but it didn’t bother me. Minuscule bathroom

Hospitality and location. There’s nothing to dislike.
-
Good location There was an “entryway “ with a door to bathroom and a door to the sleeping area It was inconvenient when dealing with luggage
-
Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, the lady at the reception named Litsa was exceptionally kind Bathroom was super small

Room was perfect abd location ideal for moving around. Nil

The building is very old and protected status so they are unable to add an elevator, so you must be able to use the stairs. There also weren't any outlets by the bed, but on the last night I discovered a power strip in a drawer that allows you to bring power closer to the bed.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable, better than I expected, with good facilities. The breakfast was very good value for money. The ease of check-in was great, especially as we arrived very late. The staff were very friendly. The toilet wasn't flushed when we arrived, but everything else was clean. The bathroom lights didn't work. The shower door had also come off the rails. The staff were most apologetic and promised to see to it as soon as we brought it to their attention.
