Great atmosphere and hospitality

Room was modernised, it had an ac and a nice bathroom. The location was excellent in regards to why I was there. Staff was great! The doors in the rooms don't hold noise from the corridor very well. Not many rooms so not a big issue.

Great location, wonderful staff and lovely breakfast. There was not much not to like - it’s a lovely old pub. The decor in the rooms could’ve been a bit lighter and some of the carpets were a bit dirty but otherwise it was fantastic.

Breakfast was delicious, bed was super comfortable, great shower, fantastic location.

Second time we stayed at the Stoke-Newington Rose & Crown and we are enjoying it even more. It has all the charm of a neighborhood Pub/Inn, with an excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Open fireplaces, great drinks (an infamous Bloody Mary) and food, including a delicious, traditional Sunday Roast! Rooms are spacious with modernized bathrooms. Location is highly practical with multiple bus lines right outside the door that quickly gets one to London Central, the Tube or the Overground. If one needs a luxury stay, this will not meet your expectations. It’s a classified building, walls are thin and heating is somewhat spotty in places. But it’s also part of the charm!

I liked everything

It's a convenient location with very comfortable amenities. The breakfast is well presented and the staff are welcoming. The room I had was above the pub front door on the night of the weekly pub quiz, so that was a bit noisy. They did warn me about that at least, so I was prepared.

From check in and throughout the stay, the highest level of customer service and friendliness makes staying at Rose and Crown Stoke Newington a pleasure. From the historic building, well-appointed rooms, and the ground floor pub that provides a very satisfying breakfast and then opens to the public for the enjoyable food and drink options. The roof top terrace provides a nice space to enjoy if there's sun.

Lovely meeting the staff, who obviously take pride in running the pub and hotel. The pub is a classified property, full of charm and history. The rooms are accessed behind the bar, up stairs. If you need an elevator, this isn't the place for you. Our room was spacious and right next to a rooftop terrace. We never spent time there as we had a busy schedule, but it would have been delightful! the breakfast layout started at 7:30 am and was perfect for our needs. We will stay there again if/when the opportunity arrises! An elevator would have been nice for luggage, but we are able bodied and negotiated the stairs with ease.

Everything was great!! Other guests were extremely noisy and inconsiderate. Coming in late at night, slamming doors talking excessively in corridors. People only think if themselves and not if othets.
-
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful. We were across from a huge park with deer and several historic churches. The neighborhood felt like just that. We felt we were among locals. The food in the pub for dinner and the complimentary breakfast was also excellent. One of our favorite parts was the patio on which we could enjoy our morning coffee and overlook the city. Nothing.

Great place, modern and clean. The shower and the bead are great

A wonderful room with excellent staff

Absolutely enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean cosy and large. The bathroom was modern and had everything you needed in the room with loads of USB points for charging phones up. I even tried the evening meal which was excellent and the atmosphere of the pub was amazing. I can't think of anything I dislike, will definitely stay there again
