The hotel is basically a B&B at weekends with no food or drinks.

It was all perfect

The place and the rooms were beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The steps on the front of the property were difficult to get the pram in and out of the building. Fortunately there was always someone offering to help

We had a lovely weekend stay at this historic location, a very short walk from the Liverpool Station. On weekends most of the nearby shops are closed, and the Club does not offer meals, but we did not mind exploring a bit farther to find what we needed. Our third-floor room had only a sky-light (no windows), but the bed was very comfortable, the AC was excellent, the shower was great, and there were coffee, snacks, and a fridge in the room. As other reviewers have noted, the building shakes and rumbles a bit because of the Tube underneath, but this did not bother us or keep us up at night.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was exactly as we had hoped. We were a little away from some things being in the City but it was easy to get around by tube. The room was lovely and the staff welcoming and helpful. Not much really - be nice to have had some breakfast but this is a private members' club and so I suppose we were lucky to be able to stay there at all and there is a Pret across the road!

A fun place to stay with all the trappings of an old club but modern facilities. Super clean. Close to Liverpool St station.

No breakfast served on weekends but this wasn't an issue.

Location was great for us - really easy to get in and out of the city area. We were able to leave our bags before we could check in and also after we checked out. The ambience of the club was really great - so much history and the room and the entrance hall were very lovely. It was noisy - it's built over a tube line which is runs throughout the day and much of the night time - they did supply ear plugs but wouldn't recommend this place for light sleepers!

Location and value No window, off the elevator you had to go up and down to the room.
-
I loved the comfort and little touches in the room. Nothing.
-
Window in the room and include breakfast as you do on weekdays

Beautiful rooms and great venue. The opulence of stairs will have you take many photos here. The bathrooms are large and well equipped. They provide you with nice robes and slippers. The bar is filled with goodies. The mattresses are horrible. They need an upgrade. You sink into the bed like a v shape. They are so soft and provide no support. The restaurant is closed on the weekend.
-
Well located close to railway station, fit the need Prepaid, confusion with payment (had the receipt fortunately), room cold because of draught from the window.
-
Overall cleanness and comfort level. rooms are not very soundproof.
