Unfortunately you were not able to honor my reservation due to hotel closure. You have been my go to hotel for the past 6-7 years. I hope you are reopening as a hotel, friends in LB are concerned you will become housing (apartments).

NOT OPEN FOR BUSINESS. NO SERVICE PROPERTY CLOSED DOWN. FRAUD...FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ON HOTELS.COM BAD DEAL! NOT GOOD! BAD BUSINESS!

The room we reserved was not available and or stay was canceled

Managerial staff added charges for “cleaning” when the room had not been visited by staff. Then attempted to extract those charges from Apple Pay without authorization or consultation of why the charges were applicable even though they did not appear on a printout of charges. Further, they added a pet fee for a service animal, something strictly forbidden by California law, and refused to refund the charge.

Friendly staff.

The staff at the front desk was great. Not the cleanest. Very old.

Have been trying to get a refund for our stay since Friday night. My son was given two different rooms and both were run down and filthy. Spider webs all over the place- dead bugs in the bed and pubic hair in the shower. The door didn’t lock either on the door. Very misleading ad. so bad he did not stay the night ended up having to go stay at a friends house. Brian told my son he could get a refund but the hotel won’t answer the phone to issue the refund.

There was no hot water in the room the morning I was getting ready to leave. Front desk told me maintenance had not yet arrived and to call the hotel manager later. He offered me a 20% refund on the room, but said it had to be coordinated through Expedia. When I called Expedia, they said it had to be refunded through the hotel. I gave up.

Had a room in the “tower” and got upgraded to a king suite on the 4th floor. The room was huge and it could have easily slept 4-6 ppl but it only had 1 bed and no sofa, you could get a fold up single mattress for $25 extra a night. The view was nice with two private balconies and views of the marina with all those nice boats and yachts. Walking distance to 2nd and PCH and Marina Pacifica. This was great because we had our choices of about a dozen different restaurants giving enough options to keep a wide variety of tastes satisfied. That and 4 groceries stores (Ralph’s, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Bristol Farms) all with 3-10 minute walk. Also close about a 3-5 minute drive was Belmont Shores 2nd St. if you are familiar with this section of Long Beach it’s always busy and in the daytime is usually more family friendly and stays that way until 10pm. Then the spots turn into bars/nightclubs and it can get real rambunctious especially when the booze starts flowing. The hotel needs an upgrade badly, just dated decor, furniture etc. But the rooms you can get for fairly cheap, and if you’re looking for a relaxed informal feel or have kids you want to let runaround this place, especially its pool setup is perfect. There’s another 2 story building that’s a huge rounded with rooms surrounding the courtyard pool which is centered inside the building and you can get a room with a balcony or patio and keep an eye on the family if they want to swim.

The stairs were impossible to use, with a luggage and locks on the door don’t seem to be strong enough

I dont know how this place has a 8.0 rating. The only thing decent was the area, and they have security patrol the grounds all night. Itt could be a decent place. But it needs updating rreal bad. Bed was comfortable, but the room was dirty. From just the walk to bed to bathroom and back left my feet black from the dirty floor.

My room had a old smell to it. And the bed was old. This place needs a rehab

Lots of parking. Elevators didn't work but they accomodated my wheelchair mom with a downstairs room.

The staff and location made this dilapidated hotel delightful. I walked my dog to a park on the water across the street which was gorgeous at sunset. The sunsets were breath taking. The hotel is old but we were not there to hang out at the hotel. But when we did have a few hours, we gathered in the cupola near the pool and it was a delightful space to chat.

Carpets were very dirty. Walked for a couple minutes on the carpets and the bottom of our feet got dirty. Poor ventilation in the bathroom. Lots of things were broken in the room.

Hotel is next to a club that had a lot of questionable guests. Place is old and worn. No breakfast offered. Pay for parking.
