Exceptional

This was a just-fine hotel if you’re traveling solo or as a couple, but the service was really disappointing. After coming back tired from sightseeing, I just wanted to buy five bottles of water at $2 each, which was enough for us that night and the next morning since we were checking out. I gave the staff member a $20 bill, but he said he had no change and basically told me to either buy more bottles or leave, since they don’t accept cards for water. It’s not about the few dollars, but the lack of basic flexibility and consideration for guests. Also, if you’re traveling with a toddler who moves around a lot in their sleep, be aware that the beds are quite high—it made us quite worried and uncomfortable during our stay.

I enjoyed how the outside looked. Modern. The bedroom was well displayed. The TV was amazing! The bathroom, well done! Kind customer service as well. I did not like or enjoy the bed sheets. Stains. The customer service was kind enough to bring us new sheets. Above all, the biggest dislike was the parking. I was lucky to find one the first night. The second, we decided to leave. It was hard to find one, and the streets were very sketchy. Everything would have been alright if the sheets were not stained and there was safe parking. Other than that, the hotel, itself, was alright.

Everything about this hotel was perfect!! The location to the subway was a plus and so was the hotel staff. They have an ATM on site and even sold bottled water, sodas, and snacks for only a few dollars. It was a great price and very convenient! I would recommend anyone to stay here when visiting NYC as it was a great experience.

They kept our luggage after we checked out which was very helpful. The room wasn’t ready on time bc they were cleaning which wasn’t very clean, but it was ok.

the room was clean, the staff was kind and attentive, and the AC was very strong even in the August heat! thanks so much for everything!
