LIC Manhattan View Hotel

Do not waste money. Room was ok but water fountain wasn’t working, breakfast was a big joke the only thing they had was croissant, Bagel and muffin, only to last few people and the timing was 7am til the food last. My wife went down around 7:30 and there was nothing left. I have stayed at other hotels in New York but never had an experience like this. This hotel shouldn’t even be listed on Expedia.

All good except breakfast. It was available only 30 minutes from 7am until 7.30am.

I brought it to the attention olf the night desk clerk who could not have beem more rude or less helpful even if she tried. Which she didn't. She simply did not care. Didn't offer me a complaint form or anything else. Customer satisfaction was not her concern. Exercise machines in fitness center did not work and the continental breakfast just ok, with very limited options. Becasue of lack of respect afforded to me, I would not stay there again.

Mal servicio, se tardaron una hora en entregarme la habitación, fuimos a desayunar con mi familia dentro del horario dado por el hotel y no había desayuno, le pusieron un stiker a mi carro que estaba parqueado ilegalmente y ya había pagado 40 dólares al hotel por el parqueo, una mala esperencia

The breakfast was misleading as it was delivered baked goods from a local shop. The baked goods were well made, but some were plain croissants or bagels with the only accompanying spread being butter or cream cheese; no jellies, preserves, or peanut butter. No toaster for the baked goods, no cereals, no yogurt, no fruit, no eggs, no breakfast meat, no milk, no juice...only the baked goods, coffee, and hot water/tea. We were apparently lucky the first day to have creamer, but the next two days were devoid of creamer. Drinking water also ran out and we had to get bottled water from the front desk (they seemed confused when I mentioned the water dispenser being empty). Also, the food was first-come:first-served, despite the 7-11 breakfast hours, and there was no replenishment of depleted stock. Maintenance: the A/C was inconsistent across rooms, with ours having a portable unit that was vented to the window. It worked fine though. Also, the shower doors didn't close properly, and the bathroom door had 3 inches cut from the bottom (unsure why...maybe prior damage). The view from 15th floor was nice.

Overall experience was okay at this Hotel but room and bed was not cleaned properly and room carpet was not cleaned either

Good location. Fair price. Breakfast is very limited. Dining room is not clean.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, and we had a pleasant stay overall. At checkout, we were informed that there was no damage to the room and that the security deposit would be refunded. Two weeks after checkout, we have not yet received the refund. We hope the refund process can be completed soon.

The service was great. the location is really good - few blocks from subway that takes you to Manhattan.
