Glenrock Inn & Suites Glendale

I have to say that some of the reviews make this place seem worse than it actually is. I found the room to be very clean, and serviceable, the only note on the room was it did get a tad bit hot at night but it was an exceptionally hot day in Glendale that day, (middle of August). The bed was very comfortable tho after a long day of travel and being at a festival. I want to say that the service staff were amazing. I had kind of a late check in and I called early in the day to let them know I’d be checking in later and they were 100 percent cool with that. They even offered me an early check in if I wanted to drop my stuff off. I called at around 1130 or midnight and the night staff was super accommodating. The parking was included in the room fee. However many of the parking spaces were compact and we drive an suv, but nothing more than a minor note on that one. The check out staff was also very helpful. If going to an event at the rose bowl this is a great hotel for it. Over all, very happy with my stay.

First of all, we were scheduled through hotel.com to be staying at a best Western plus in Glendale. When we showed up, we couldn’t find it. We finally pulled into this other hotel and asked if they knew where the best Western plus was at and they said that they had just bought out best Western plus. We were not notified of this. New management does not serve breakfast. We killed two bugs in our room that had blood on the Kleenex when we killed them. The next morning I saw a five dollar bill and I picked it up. I looked around. I didn’t see anybody that dropped it. I put it in my pocket went and checked out, came back to the car and a man standing on the balcony of the second story drop down another five dollar bill and then spit down by the five dollar bill. I immediately took my five dollar bill out and put it back with the other one remembering a story about how they put drugs on money. The man started to yell at me and I got my car and drove away. I don’t feel it’s a safe place.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean as well. Only slight issue we had was the tv. Couldn’t change the channel throughout our whole stay, other than that, completely satisfied with everything else!

Floors not cleaned well. Jacuzzi was obnoxiously loud and took ages to fill. Found a big spider in the bed. parking was terrible and compact. Bf and I both got sick by the end of the stay.

The staff were very kind and the breakfast was great. Not far from shopping or food places. The room was clean but had small mishaps, like a missing doorknob on one of the two closets. Or an obvious gap in floor bounds, but not hazardous.

The staff was very friendly, there is ample amount of parking, and the room was nice. Unfortunately, the water pressure for the shower was not very good and the tv in our room didn’t work. The walls and floors seem to be pretty thin as you can hear those around you pretty easy. The area itself can be a little loud since it is right by the highway. I was also disappointed that online the property said it offers a full breakfast, but I found out when we got to the property that they do not offer breakfast at all. This was very disappointing, as this was why I chose this hotel over others. The staff was accommodating due to the inconveniences and very friendly

The room had a cigarette smell to it and in the morning the complementary breakfast was denied.

The clerk kept us waiting about 12 minutes waiting while he chatted on the phone before he welcomed us and checked us in. My television was broken so he moved me to another room which had no lock on the door. As a single woman traveling, I did not feel safe.

Breakfast was terrible, through it away and went hungry. Staff was helpful enough when you could find them. Had to wait for 20+ minutes when I arrive no one was at the desk. Room was dirty, crumbs

Convenient to freeway Sad facility, worn and not particularly inviting. The room smelled of old smoke. Tile is coming undone and sink faucet was not working properly. Was told that they're no longer in the best Western family after this week and frankly I'm not surprised.

Stayed two nights and was finally able to get some breakfast and I thought it was great and told the lady cooking how food it was, also spoke to the front desk and a few little problems that should be addressed but she Said the maintenance man had quit so they see what be done to correct the 2 issues.very nice staff and house keeping was great. Highly recommend
