It’s a good location which is easy to go to beach and visit around areas. The bus stops are close by, so for those who don’t have car can take buses to go out…the staff is friendly and provides a good service.

This is my favorite place! I used to live right down the street so I’m very comfortable in the neighborhood and the rooms are always super clean. Lovely staff there too. I’m heading down in Sept but they’re already booked! So disappointed!

Very clean, comfortable, nice pool, great staff and breakfast everyday was just the cherry on top highly recommend

Very clean well maintained property with a nice small pool. Breakfast included yogurt, 2 cereals, 2 types of bread to toast, rolls, coffee, tea, and instant hot chocolate - limited but good quality. Room had refrigerator, microwave, and safe. Towels were nice quality. I have used this motel many times during past 3-4 years and recommend.

Breakfast needs some improvement

Great location near the beach and local shops and food. The street was not busy. Room was located near the laundry room which made it noisy.

Property was as advertised. Friendly staff. Good cleaning crew who helped me practice my Spanish a bit. In General the place is not a top notch hotel obviously, but very good value for the money spent. Happy that staff could accommodate some wishes like doing my laundry as I was staying quite a long time for the World Cup with very little luggage. The location in Culver City is great. Close to Venice Beach and Santa Monica, the LAX airport and SoFi Stadium. LA in general is not a city for walking anywhere unfortunately. So if you don’t rent a car you will probably spend quite some money “Ubering around”. There were some nice cafes and restaurants in walking distance to the hotel which I appreciated. Even the famous In-N-Out Burger is in walking distance. Room was big and comfortable, so was the bed. The fact that someone could basically drive up in the courtyard and park in front of my room door, is something I still need to get used to as a European, but it’s something super common in American hostels. Breakfast was included in the price but it was only available until 9am, which in my opinion is clearly not long enough. Also, I have never really understood what continental breakfast means. But if it’s only cakes, cookies, some bread, pastries and black coffee then it’s not what we in the Center of the old continent (Austria, Germany, Poland counties I lived in) have for breakfast. Generally this is then the typical Italian /French breakfast which is basically a croissant and coffee and that’s it. I definitely missed scrambled eggs, Omelett or pancakes and other things that would actually make me want to go have breakfast. Long story short I always got my breakfast from nearby places instead of the hotel. A more General issue: since I have developed a peanut/walnut/sesame/hazelnut allergy it’s quite annoying to have only pastries/cookies/bread (maybe cereal)(which can often all contain some sort of nuts according to the packaging as options… No matter the allergy every breakfast should contain at least some real protein options like eggs, ham, cheese, or even meats, soy, etc. a sugary yoghurt is not it either. Second thing I didn’t like was that the cash machine in the hotel lobby was charging extra for cash withdrawals. Third thing: free water bottles should always come in the fridge complimentary to the hotel booking. And cleaning staff should fill up the fridge with new water every day. I think it’s a bit of a rip off to have to go to a vending machine outside the room every time for water. (Again: maybe that’s normal in the US).

Love this place! Has such a great Mid-Century vibe. Always clean and the staff is very nice.

Breakfast is okay, not super healthy or anything, coffee definitely not great, but hey it's free... Rooms are spacious. Location is great depending where in the area you have to be. Parking is free! Wi-fi was unusable. It was really bad (as in Zoom calls cut out, streaming kept switching to graining bad quality). So low speed, and signal also not great. Other guests were also complaining. Noise is still an issue. Thin walls but mainly doors that make a huge amount of noise when you close them (no impact cushioning, wood on wood).

Room was huge and it was almost as big as an apartment. Hotel was close to Santa Monica, Venice and LAX. It was in a middle of safe neigborhood. There is a lot to do near.
-
Bed uncomfortable with tv that has no signal. Was told they would waive parking to accommodate the poor experience, then was charged for parking. My floor was slated for construction with workers all around and they refused reimbursement in any part for an AWFUL stay.
