Still don't understand the weird kiosk. Maybe it made my stay cost less money or maybe it gave the hotel more profit I don't know but it kinda stinks.

parking needs charge 。。no good

Nice area with food and other essentials all within walking distance. The check in process is unique, but it’s not a problem. Overall, great stay, it’s quiet at night

This place is disgusting. Cute exterior in a cute neighborhood but the inside looks like a motel on skid row. Filthy room. The bed came with one top sheet on top of the mattress and a ln actual Costco $20 blanket on top. No washcloths. No hairdryer. We got two towels, a floor towel, a flat sheet, and that Costco blanket. That is literally it. There is no one working at the actual property you check in via a video kiosk with someone who is very clearly working the camera from across the world. The we’re burn marks in the side of our mattress protector and on the side of one of the nightstands. Dead bugs smashed on the walls. We slept with our clothes on for one night and left the next morning. If I had my kids with me I would not have stayed the night at all. Truly disgusting place.

Helpful staff, room smelled a little bit but was clean overall and easy.

Refrigerator didn't work in my room. Not happy about that

As soon as we walked into our room we were hit by a very strong cigarette smell. I woke up extremely congested and needing to use my inhaler due getting my asthma exacerbated by the smell. The room is poorly kept and needs a remodel or at least DEEP clean. There are scuffs, cracks, old dirt everywhere. The bathtub would backup with water after 2-3 minutes. We did not enjoy our stay and this was definitely not worth the price. This should be $50 MAX/ night.

There aren’t any staff and you have to check in thru a virtual kiosk that is all glitchy. Tv didn’t work. Carpet was dirty and squishy. Sink was broken and leaked all over the place. There were scratch marks all over the bathroom door as if someone couldn’t get out. It honestly just gave us the heebie jeebies. Also parking cost extra.

Bed felt like a bunch of broken springs, stains and mold on walls, all the blinds are broken, room smelled like decades of cigarette smoke embedded in cheap carpet/paint/cleaning supplies, creepy shirtless guys talking at max volume in the parking lot. When you arrive, you check-in through a kiosk that allows you to talk to a live agent on a screen that I initially mistook for an A.I. Entire experience is truly dystopic. As I later read in a review of this place: do not be fooled by the charm of the quaint exterior. It's actually gross/shady.

I would say and the bathroom is functional but the same in terms of wear and general appeal. The DO NOT PROVIDE WASHCLOTHS OR HAND TOWELS! The 2 towels they do provide (only 2) and a bath mat for the floor are just as old as everything else but functional. While Eagle Rock is general a safe area - there are no interior locks on the hotel room doors. There was also no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors. We used the luggage rack with our suitcases on them as a temporary door barrier. NO FRONT OFFICE STAFF or AMENITIES! Be prepared to check in on a computer screen and show your ID, be issued your room keys all virtually. There is never anyone I saw on site as staff besides cleaning people. That being said - the bed was comfortable - there were no bugs and the pool was nice. Location Great!

Terrible place
-
Bad smell eventhough it said non-smoking room. Towels are old and disgusting. TV channels are not working properly. Parking very limited. Good thing we only stayed overnight. We checked-in past 8pm and checked out 6am.

Nothing Over charge

There was no on site staff seen but someone came into our rooms and left two towels that smelled weird. Everything was dirty and grimy, when we walked on the floor it left visible dirt on our feet. There was a light in our room that flickered the whole time so we just kept the lights off. The TV remote also didn’t work past like 5 channels but was considered a smart tv?? i’m glad we brought our roku or we wouldn’t be able to watch anything during our stay.

Everything else sucks. Paid parking; no outlets to charge phones or computers; tv didn’t work; no microwaves. Front desk is via video screen in India. Not informed of $100 deposit until you get there & you can’t pay in cash because they turn your money into rupees in India and then have to convert it back to US dollars in 3 days!?

The price matched the quality of the facility. When I arrived to check in, there was no one present. I had to speak to a kiosk. The woman on the screen appeared to be in India. She charged me $10 extra for checking-in less than one hour early; she put an extra $100 hold on my debit card and told me it would be refunded after my stay; and she scanned my ID and my biometric data. I felt this was EXTREMELY invasive of my privacy. Is someone going to steal my identity!?!? I messaged the property through Booking.com before my trip and asked if my early arrival time was OK. I received a reply saying that it was but the additional $10 fee was not disclosed to me. The two additional charges should have been listed on Booking.com; not presented upon my arrival at the facility after they had my initial payment. I had been driving all day was tired. I did NOT appreciate being surprised with additional fees and having my privacy invaded. Booking.com should have done a better job disclosing the fees and conditions of this property.

Clean room, excellent service, great location, many parking spaces available, cold A/C. One thing that I disliked was the lack of wall socket next to my King bed. Other than that it was great. Would recommend if you want a short drive to universal studios. Just drive there early in the morning.
