The Hills Inn Eagle Rock - Near Old Town Pasadena

Clean and comfortable, great location! Free, on-site parking is a huge plus. My daughter is a student at Occidental College and I stay here every time I visit.

It’s our place to stay in LA. Super convenient to Occidental College and the restaurants in Eagle Rock and Highland Park. Rooms are great-clean, spacious with just what we need. Love the pool too.

My in-laws stayed here recently and were charged $1,500 in error. What should have been a simple fix turned into a headache — when we followed up, staff acted like they had no idea what was going on and couldn’t give us a straight answer. Billing mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and the runaround afterward is what makes this hard to overlook. Disappointing service on what should have been a straightforward correction.

Nice, clean property. Very conveniently situated to the central Los Angeles area without being inside of Downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful plus responsive to questions and requests. They were also informative with specials and discounts offered as a guest. Room was clean. The microwave was less powerful than the one I have at home, so I had to adjust time is my only gripe. Parking lot was navigable and ample. We enjoyed the hot tub jacuzzi.

Everything was great, and it is close to so many things. Biggest issue was their Wifi, that was dodgey. But I would stay there again.

No one was at the front desk when we arrived at 6:30 pm. Sign on the door saying she’d be back at 7:05. We’d just had a long drive and really expected to be able to get in our room.

Staff were efficient and professional. Parking was not an issue at all.

Quiet location. Not too busy

Was a little disappointed the continental breakfast was taking away, that was a high light that was missing other than that everything was very good.

Our stay was comfortable and we were thankful to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Room was clean. Coffee maker in room, with fridge and microwave. Very nice and helpful staff. Only complaint is lack of enough outlets. Location was good and felt safe. Stayed with my teenage son.

Quiet and reasonable price

Basic room. We didn’t expect much but it was clean, sheets and towels were soft, and bed was comfortable. The room had a very strong odor of a cleaning product that disappeared with time. Front counter staff was very friendly and welcoming. Didn’t try the pool but it was open when we were there.

The location is great and it's very clean.

The price and Hotel itself was good for what we needed it for. Comfortable beds, laundry on site, helpful and friendly staff, close to EVERYTHING. Amenities are very limited but overall experience was great.
