Great location in central Louth. Bed was very comfortable. Bedside lighting didn’t work, though they were aware and in process of resolving. Bathroom door handle loose. Overall, room was a little ‘tired’. Free car parking is at separate town car park 300 yards away.

Best thing about the Hotel was its website! It looked classy and that sucked us in! The rooms were an attempt at ‘industrial chic’, but just not cracked it. The bed linen was 100% cotton, which was a bonus, we took the duvet out of the cover- way too hot. The room was ridiculously hot, if we opened the window, the noise was endless. The fan provided, just circulated the hot air. On the website, it states the food is cooked to order, so we hoped, at least, for a good breakfast. What we received was probably the worst breakfast ever! I ordered packages with bacon and maple syrup, for a change. It came with bananas, no bacon. They took it away and returned the same solid pancakes, with bacon that was so ‘crispy’ it was charred and utterly tasteless. My husband had full English, but left a fair bit, as it was equally disappointing.

Location superb. Clean and comfortable beds. Quiet area. Good value for money No staff on site overnight. Parking used to be very convenient outside the front of the hotel, now a public car park, although free but a walk from the hotel.

Great location , really clean and staff very helpful and friendly . Check in and out made easy by staff . Breakfast was great … really good value overall Room was lovely but very warm ( weather hot but windows open and fan on ) and could have benefited from water being left in fridge. That said was very clean and bed very comfortable and we have stayed before when weather was cooler with no issue

Great location, nice rooms Load music playing very late into evening from a bar behind the hotel and council out putting up the market up at 6am in the morning so didn’t get much sleep, hotel had no bar facilities for an evening drink, wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a relaxing night away.

Nice clean place and staff were very helpful. Nothing, all good.

Location in the center of the town, right next to the bars and weekend market Right in the center of town, next to the bars and weekend market. Noise from the bar meant keeping doors and windows closed, being in the market square meant having to park 5 minutes away, until Sunday morning after the market had finished.

The manager was so helpful and allowed us to park our motorbikes on the property. The location was excellent - right in the centre and very close to bars and shops. Nothing

Good location. Nice building with information about it's extensive history. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. The hotel felt a little tired in places and could benefit from some maintenance. During our stay, we experienced an issue with the water supply. The cold taps in both the shower and sink would intermittently run hot, and by the second night we couldn't get any cold water at all. We ended up walking around the hotel trying to find somewhere to fill a bottle with cold water or locate a member of staff, but there was no one around and most of the doors were locked. Thankfully, we were able to access a function room where the tap was working properly. The sink tap in our room was also loose and not properly attached, making it awkward to use. Although this isn't the hotel's fault, it's worth mentioning that we were kept awake on both nights by people outside shouting, swearing and being sick. Louth seemed like a very small and quiet town, so this came as quite a surprise. If you're a light sleeper, it's something to be aware of. Breakfast was disappointing. The menu was heavily focused on fried options, which was fine for one morning but felt quite limited for a two-night stay. My partner ordered the "American pancakes" on the second morning, and they were unlike anything we've ever seen—they arrived looking more like thin, burnt biscuits than pancakes. The waitress was lovely and we could hear her dealing with complaints from other guests, so we chose not to add to them, but unfortunately my partner left breakfast still hungry. We paid £250 for two nights and, having travelled extensively, we didn't feel the price reflected the overall quality of the stay. We've stayed in much busier and typically more expensive parts of the country recently and received a noticeably better standard of accommodation and food for a similar price.
